“Finally had the chance to try Maria’s. Fresh pasta (Mafaldini) had never seen this shape before, 1/4”wide or so, looked like a lasagna noodle),Rosa Sauce and the best Lemoncello cake ever! Made chicken parm with the sauce and noodles and it was excellent. I can see this being a regular stop for take home ingredients. Also want to try the Porchetta sandwich so next Friday it’s marked on the calendar!“

“This pub is in a great location and serves great pub style food, the wings are the best in HRM. I find the biggest issue is the lack of staff which slows down the service. If the lady that cleans the tables is off sick then the servers are doing double duty and orders, delivery and billing take longer and customers get impatient. Even at the best of times more staff are need, I'm a long time customer and speak for numerous friends with the same comments.“

“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!“

“My friend's and I recently had lunch at La Piazza. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“

The waitress was also incredible. We felt so spoiled, and we want to let all of our friends know how delicious the authentic Italian food was. “2 block walk from the Lord Nelson hotel, the staff were superb and very friendly, we picked up food to go and as we waited for our food the staff brought us a complimentary glass of bubbly. We enjoyed the food so much that we when back a second time a few days later.“

The seafood chowder was absolutely wonderful, thick and full of flavour, exactly what you want after a cool morning by the harbour. “Just had Pizza Hut and honestly it hit the spot. The pizza was super fresh, cheesy, and loaded with toppings. The breadsticks were soft and crazy good, like I could’ve eaten a whole box by myself.

The staff was cool and got everything out fast. Place was clean, too, which is always a plus.

Overall, solid experience. If you’re craving pizza, Pizza Hut’s definitely a good move. 🍕😄“
