“All I can say is WOW! I took my boyfriend out for dinner here tonight as it’s been on my horizon for a while and i’m so glad we finally went. The duck was delicious, moist and so flavourful. My boyfriend had the rabbit and it was so tender and the carrots with this was fantastic.“

“For a 100 year old plus restaurant it was pretty good. My group enjoyed the beet salad and a bean burger.
My burger was definitely from a frozen patty. The chips were excellent.
The service was good. Gracie was very personable and nice. A tad bit slow on drink refills, but nothing too bad.“

“We have eaten here many times and find food very very good. Great prices not a long wait to get food and waitresses are very good. We usually try to get Jessica as her friendliness is just absolutely the best. The only one thing that l have to say is l dont particularly like the music that is playing .“

“We went there twice in our road trip to NS. Service was very quick, polite and friendly. If you're looking for a small lunch or dinner with a lot of taste I would recommend the Bowl Chowder: tasty.“

“We went on a day trip on our ATV's and stopped in for a meal at Island View. The food and service was fantastic. I have to say though, the people we passed along our journey through the area seemed to be very anti-ATV and gave us dirty looks and seemed very snobby.“
“My husband and I plus my daughter and her husband and 2 young grandchildren stayed here Saturday night and had breakfast with Santa Saturday morning. They loved it. Plus all the Christmas festivities that we took part in. A big thank you to the amazing friendly staff here. We all loved it here and had a great time. The view from rooms 1 and 2 are stunning. Even the kids loved that view. We will all be back next year. Thank you Island View.“
