“Local pizza place with good pizza and good prices - you can't beat 6$ for a huge slice of pizza + drink. Owner is a very personable and friendly guy too!
Lovely place to stop by and grab lunch on a busy workday. Expect to wait around 15 minutes unless you call ahead; he makes them to order.

Their hawaiian is the best i've found in NS. Uses the good non-fatty ham and plenty of pineapple. 15/10 come here and get a nice big slice!”

“We came here on a whim. The place looked like a typical bar you'd find on a long drive however it had a Nintendo section which was honestly cool. It was filled with locals who were generally very happy and talkative with the bartender and staff. I actually found this very enjoyable as if gave the place a very friendly and family like vibe. The music was nice and not overbearing loud. We definitely felt like we were a little out of place but we weren't treated terribly, we were greeted with kindness.She recommended good beverages and everything was brought at a timely manner.The food is greasy but good. The fries could have used more seasoning, when I brought it to the waitresses attention she let me know they do have a seasoning but they only put it on via request as some people dont like it. (I highly recomend asking for it.) but beyond that it was filling, it was tasty. I would definitely ask for more napkins in advance!I'd love to come back when they have a live band, it seems like it would be a fun place to be.”

And they close the front counter. Have patience. You will get your order.
When they're closed, order online or go to the drive through and come back in.And sit down and enjoy your meal.I always do.”

“I am super impressed with Apartment 3. Attentive, FAST service that I have experienced in this entire area including Bedford to St Margaret’s Bay.

On my way to a funeral reception, she got me 5 drinks in very little time, with a polite smile and a lot of professionalism. There are little moments sometimes on very bad days where you have to celebrate the positive interactions that make you smile.”

“I go to this Dairy Queen location quite often . There is a cashier there , not sure of a name but she’s got blonde hair a nose ring , a septum and a tattoo on her arm. Let me tell ya she is amazing!! Every time I go in she makes me feel welcome and is so kind and always greets with a smile on her face . I genuinely think she should get a raise , or a pay bonus because her customer service is truly outstanding!”

I enjoy their Hot Chocolate every single day. Normally in many places hot chocolate is not that good and only its like sweet hot water..but here I really enjoy the taste and consistency. “I have been to over 30 Tim Hortons in my Travels and I frequent the Beaverbank location often. I am always impressed with how great the staff are. Always friendly, helpful and quick to serve you. The store is always clean and the shelf’s are always stocked with fresh produce unlike some other locations. The site is always very clean and with the high traffic they see is impressive. The Manager and Assistant Manager always greet me with a smile and see how my day is going. There is a young lady, Maancy who always sees me coming and has my order ready to go. It’s refreshingly fantastic to see the level of service that they provide on a day basis. I hope the people in the area know how great they have it to enjoy this location. I always start my day with a smile when I visit. Thanks for your efforts 😊”

“Im giving 5 star to the canadians coffee shop. But foreiegn workers, not all of them but 1 of them is unprofessional and disrepectful. Not just that, one of them used their hand to get the pastry. Please use gloves. Another thing is insects inside the bakery display. Another thing is, the floor is disgusting, please mop the floor.”
