“Wow what a spectacular dinning experience. Thank you for a marvelous meal full of fresh flavour. The baked oysters where to die for. The fresh pasta and the sauce with local flavour was the best meal we have had all year. May I add that it is so nice to compliment your meal with cocktails prepared by a professional bar tender. I have found my favorite restaurant. Good food and great service the little gull bistro one of the best in the Maritimes.”

We ordered the ginger beef, C14, brown sugar bun and BBQ pork buns.
Everything was delicious and portions were great! I had the ginger beef for supper and then the leftovers for lunch.”

“There were two gluten free people in our party, and we both loved the choices. I had the chicken burger, kale salad, and shared onion rings and the cauliflower bites. It was hard to believe they were gluten free. 10 out of 10 for food, service, and atmosphere. I’ll be back when I’m in New Glasgow again.”

We had a wonderful visit to the Swiss Chalet in New Glasgow. From the moment we walked in, our server (Christina) greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. The service was incredibly quick, and our meals arrived faster than expected. The chicken was exceptionally juicy and flavorful—a real highlight of the meal! We visited during the Festive Special season, which always adds an extra touch of cheer to the dining experience, and the holiday decorations were lovely and added to the warm, cozy atmosphere. Overall, everything was perfect. We left with full stomachs and big smiles. Highly recommend stopping by Swiss Chalet in New Glasgow if you’re in the area!”

“I had a grilled turkey melt that was only done on one side and sandwich wasn't cut. Took it back and the girl argued that it was supposed to be that Way. Gave me another sandwich. Same thing. The press must not be working. Girl was rude. I ate it anyway cold.”

“An employee came out from behind the kitchen area and cleaned off and wiped all the tables, I was shocked. Good you!The beef patties are still the same size which was nice to see. Not shrunken down like the restaurant with the golden arches.”

“This is the fastest fast food restaurant in New Glasgow. The friendly staff work hard and I have never waited more than 3 minutes for my food when ordering inside. The majority of fast food places seem to prioritize drive through, but this Wendy's has an excellent balance between their drive through and their front counter. I also really like the soft drink machine and that I can choose different flavors to add to my Coke haha My one complaint is the decor is fairly sterile and its always cold in there, so only 3 stars for atmosphere. I prefer ordering inside rather than the drive through, but I would rather eat in my car afterwards than sit inside.”
