“These Chickens Are Delicious!!!
I was on a work trip in upper Nova Scotia, tired, hungry, jet-lagged and dangerously close to eating a gas station granola bar… when I spotted a KFC. What I expected: standard fried chicken. What I got: crispy maritime magic.
The chicken? Juicy, golden perfection.
The gravy? Basically therapy in liquid form.
The vibes? Canadian politeness wrapped in 11 herbs and spices. Was this Kanadian Fried Chicken?!?!
I’ve had KFC in the U.S., but this was different—gentler, wiser, like the Colonel found inner peace somewhere along the Cabot Trail. These chickens weren’t just delicious—they were emotionally healing.
Would detour again. Would consider moving. 10/10.“

“As a vegetarian, I really appreciate that New York Fries offers veggie-friendly options—especially their delicious veggie fries, which I absolutely love. It’s one of the few places I consistently visit just to enjoy a satisfying snack that fits my dietary preferences.
The fries are always fresh, crispy, and flavorful, and it’s great to see a place that doesn’t compromise on quality.
That said, I’d love to see even more vegetarian choices added to the menu. A few more creative toppings or plant-based sides would make the experience even better!“

“Dietary restrictions: Nit enough vegetarian meals..also I'm I diabetic on kidney dialysis.. can't have anything tomaty at all the only vegetarian u seem to use is lettuce and tomatoes on your meals also I Cannot eat ANY POTATOE stuff..fries are out potato salad pouting.. my husband loves ur pouting.. once again PLEASE Get more different salads..thank u“

“I visited this restaurant this morning with my child. An older staff member took our order. Because I didn’t clearly hear her questions about how I wanted the eggs cooked and what type of bacon and bread I preferred, I had to ask for clarification.
Unfortunately, the cold attitude and impatience she showed made both my child and me feel quite uncomfortable and saddened. I understand that restaurant staff work hard and may be under pressure, but the service we received left me disappointed with what has always been one of our family’s favorite fast-food restaurants.
My child later asked me why she was so mean to us. I didn’t know how to answer and simply said, “Maybe she was having a bad day.” I hope future customers can receive a warmer and more welcoming experience.“

“I just went through the drive thru (Oct 21 @ 6:45) and ordered peanut buster parfaits. 2 things. 1-The young man (didn’t catch his name) that was working on the drive thru, was delightful. So pleasant and bright. We have had great service before. But his demeanour was outstanding 2-highly disappointed that I was told you will no longer be carrying crushed peanuts. I hope that changes.“

“I am a sophomore (10th grader) at the local high school. The restaurant atmosphere is lovely and the food is sometimes good.
The thing is they tend to mess up on orders every now and again but they are usually small things and are pretty rare.
The service isn't the greatest though as the manager is a little rude.
I would advise not dining in during 12pm on Monday through Friday as it gets pretty cramped and even hot in there.“

“I'm giving this MacDonald's a 5 star review just cause the new 7th exchange MacDonald's is so bad that it's not enough to give them a 1 star, I'm giving the nearby MacDonald's 5 stars for being at least competent.“
“Great experience at Burger King Sydney River! The Whopper was fresh, juicy, and perfectly made—just the way it should be. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive, which made the visit even better. Service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Definitely one of the best Burger King locations around. Highly recommended! 👍🍔“

“We had the opportunity to have supper there last evening. Those French fries were the best I’ve had since Mike’s fries truck closed up in Glacé Bay. I had a club and couldn’t finish it…it was delicious! Hubby had chicken strips and fries and said they were excellent. We won’t be strangers!! I give it a 10/10.“
