“Me & my wife had a lovely meal here for her birthday & really enjoyed it. As I’m British the fish was absolute bang on just like you get from an English chip shop & you get 2 good sized fillets & you’ll leave full & happy. We will be back that’s for sure.”

“This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. We were in the area for a week and ate here 3 times. Every meal was delicious and the portions were substantial and filling. We especially liked the Steak and Eggs Benedict; spectacular! The burgers will spoil you for all other burgers! The Turtle Brownie and Carrot Cheesecake will make you consider moving to Bear River. Paula will be single-handedly juggling all 9 (or 10?) tables with a smile and her warm-hearted and genial disposition. If you wait a little longer for your meal, rest assured it’s worth it. Enjoy the ambiance and an excuse to stop and appreciate a wonderful dining experience.”

Evelyn is such an amazing person. she has been a huge comfort to the family when my mom passed away. the service overall is second to none and never had a bad meal there at all. living in Dartmouth makes me miss recardos pizza all the time”

“Love love love the chowder and the scallops are also outstanding! Drove 45 minutes to have a birthday lunch and realized I had forgotten my phone, so no vaccine certificate. No proof of vaccine- no inside dining. Period!! No problem. We totally support them in this appreciate their vigilance! We took our order to go and had our amazing chowder when we got home! They also have another restaurant in Parker's Cove that we love to go and the food is every bit as good there as well. Thanks Crow's Nest. You guys rock!!”

“I got the BBQ ribs with fries yesterday evening. The chief tricked me hard with the BBQ sauce l, thought he burnt my ribs, but I started cutting into it and they melted right in my mouth, drop dead delicious!”

“We stopped in at the Digby Big Stop for dinner on a January evening and had a great experience overall. Service was quick, and our server was friendly and welcoming with a smile on her face, which always makes a difference.
I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki, which I really enjoyed—the vegetables were crisp and cooked perfectly. My partner had the Hot Turkey Sandwich and was happy with his meal as well. The only downside was the side of green beans, which weren’t very good and tasted like they may have been canned or frozen.
Aside from that small issue, everything else was solid. Fast service, friendly staff, and a good place to stop for a meal while traveling. We’d stop in again.”

“This place single handedly saved my stay at the resort. It was a just a complimentary breakfast buffet but it went above and beyond for being accomodating to dietary needs. My gluten free partner was able to have a fantastic breakfast and not be stuck with afterthoughts. Gluten free fishcakes at the breakfast buffet...what more can I say 😍. Staff were exceptional and friendly and helpful. Would come again just for this.”

“Hands down the worse Chinese food dining experience I have ever had.... never had food so bland in my entire life... was recommended A2 specialty dish and it was disappointing at best, the only thing in the dish that had any flavor was the vegetables themselves... no one came to ask how the food was until napkins were on top of the inedible pile of food that remained, even then they simply brought the bill over... no one came to ask if I wanted any refills... zero offers to comp any of the bland food that was recommended.... all around bad dinning experience 👎👎”
