“Some reviews I've read of the TBR are quite critical-- it's dingy, the service is poor, the food unremarkable. But those reviews were clearly written by people who were looking for a "nice" restaurant and not a true neighborhood pub. A neighbourhood pub interior design SHOULD be outdated, and SHOULD serve standard pub fare.Sure, sometimes service can be slow-- but the folks there are salt of the earth and all you need to do is wave a hand, AND, if you paid attention when the server told you their name, or better yet, if you were friendly and asked their name, just call them over with a good-natured smile."Wing night" is actually wing nightS-- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (tip--order wings, fries and onion rings 'extra crispy'), and Sunday brunch is perfect for...well...a Sunday morning after a Saturday night.There is often live music, with a lot of favorite musicians returning again and again-- and musicians who talk to the audience and even sit and catch up with more regular patrons.The end of the music and the closing of the pub come sooner than many other pubs/restaurants, so pace your libations accordingly.The more often you visit the TBR, the better it gets-- get to know the people, because THEY are the TBR.“

“My husband and I tried Jenny’s Pub for the first time today. Words cannot describe how delicious the homemade fluffy pancakes with fresh blueberries were! My husband’s steak was delicious and prepared perfectly. Home fries were equally amazing. The staff were very kind, the atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant was extremely clean. “I love the food and the servers are wonderful - very nice chicken burgers and pulled pork.Although if you don't like loud music I don't recommend coming on a Saturday - kinda too much for me, but still a lovely little place that really shapes the clayton park district.“

Good to know they are actively checking, would have loved to try the place out while we were in town, but might not get the chance again.There wasn’t a soul in the place when we walked in shortly before 8pm. We were excited to go for Thursday wing night and was pretty disappointed to hear that the kitchen was closed. Thursday is advertised as 12$ wings from 5pm to close.The barkeeper apologized but didn’t seem overly friendly.“

The Queso Fries were also good.Wheelchair accessibility: Washroom is faiy accessible for someone with a walker, but someone in a wheelchair would have difficulty with the door. The staff seemed really nice, so I am sure they would hold the door open going in if asked.“
