Everything is really fresh! Menu is amazing and all the staff are really friendly! Highly recommend.
Wow—what a YUMMY sushi spot! Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious. My husband has had sushi in Japan and usually says nothing can compare… but Sumi came so close! The quality was outstanding, and the staff made the whole experience even better. I wish I took pictures of the food but it was beautifully presented as well.

If you haven't been here you have to go. Best Sushi in town. Sarah is amazing. Well all the staff here are amazing, Great fast service. Food is amazing so many options. Can't wait tell I go again and try a new roll

Based on the reviews, Sumi Sushi | Japanese offers excellent sushi with top quality, fresh fish. There is a great selection of nigiri and rolls, plus creative burritos, poke bowls, and solid non-sushi options like udon soup. The all you can eat for $40 each has a large variety of options, and guests especially liked the Pretty Lady and the King Kong. The staff is attentive, friendly, and provides amazing service, working as a team. They are helpful with GF needs and remember returning guests. The food is awesome, with generous portions and beautiful creations on the rolls. The decor is great, the music is bumpin', and the entire staff is in good spirits. Guests are treated like family, making it a fun place to be that is worth the drive from Reno.
