“Edit: as of a month later, it seems there’s new staff, and the service on my last two visits has been impeccable. Pleasant cashier, ample stock, and quick service.
(Original post) As a local, this place is completely pointless. When they actually have chicken, it’s fine. The server has good days and bad days. But three out of the last four times I’ve tried to get chicken, we’ve been told they “can’t sell the display chicken and have to make a new batch”. It’s a gas station — people don’t have time to wait 30 minutes for a new batch to come up. The time I did wait the chicken was pretty decent and satisfying, but I wouldn’t stand in line for it.
Sometimes they decide they’re just done cooking for the day, so your only options are whatever cold, crusty bits are left over in boxes on the shelf.“
