Ai Pono Café is a clean and nicely decorated restaurant with a pleasant smell inside. It's best to visit during non-rush hours. The Guava Chili Chicken and Korean Short Rib dishes come with a lot of rice and macaroni, plus a little slaw. The Ahi Poke was fresh and flavorful, while the Shrimp Lollipops were overly greasy. Some found the dishes too salty, but adding lemon juice helped. The Mahi platter was average, but convenient if you're in the Durango Casino Resort food court. Despite some disappointments with the food, the friendly staff and reasonable prices make it a decent choice for a meal.
