Oyster Bar Reviews
Was a great experience. Food was excellent 👌
Service was seriously lacking but the food was great. Best clam chowder ever, and while my sister didn't like how much tomato was in the pan roast I loved it. I mean a little more cream would hurt but a solid 8.5. The oysters were fresh and delicious no complaints there. Also they set us off to the side when there was open seats at the bar so that kinda sucked.
I had an amazing first experience at the Durango Oyster Bar, and Simon made it even better. I’m usually not one to try new places—I almost always go to the oyster bar at Palace Station, even though the wait is usually around two hours. I’m so glad I decided to give Durango a chance.

Based on the reviews, the Oyster Bar is a popular spot known for its excellent food and relaxed atmosphere. The standout dishes include the best clam chowder ever, the dirt clam chowder, and the Bouillabaisse with white rice, which has a clean and flavorful broth packed with seafood. The Jambalaya is described as a literal masterpiece, and the linguine with clams is tasty and delicious. The oysters are fresh and delicious, though some felt the Seafood Jackpot was pricey with too many shrimp. The New England Clam Chowder has generous pieces of clam but was a little too creamy for some.
The atmosphere is much more relaxed than other places, less crowded, and less noisy, with no cigarette smoke. The U-shaped seating provides an electric energy, like a front-row ticket to a cooking show. Service is a mixed experience; some reviews praise the enthusiasm and amazing energy of staff members, while others note that service was seriously lacking, with waitresses forgetting about tables and guests having to ask for water twice. The wait can be long, but many feel it is worth it. There is no line for the casino garage parking, making it an economical and satisfying seafood option away from the Strip.
