We were so excited to find Guthrie's in Las Vegas! It was a favorite in college at UGA (Go DAWGS!), and I thought we'd left behind the best chicken fingers ever!

Guthrie's Chicken Fingers is a restaurant in Las Vegas. It was a favorite in college at UGA. All orders are made fresh. Fries taste like real potatoes was used and the Chicken is golden brown, hot and good especially with the sauce. The chicken tenders are tender white meat, not dry, with great flavoring, crispy with a nice crunch. The chicken tender sandwich is loaded with the same nice crispy chicken tenders on a big fluffy soft bun, but it is lacking in the sauce department. The 4 piece combo is enjoyable. The sauce is the original 1965 OG sauce. The chicken fingers are bigger and have a better batter than Cane's, and the fries are bigger with larger portions. The chicken, fries, cole slaw, and sauce are the same as Raising Cane's. Guthrie's claims to be the OG and was around before Cane's. However, one visit found the food stale, the chicken, fries, and cole slaw dry, the atmosphere totally lacking, a longer wait, and more expensive. The staff was super helpful and patient. The leadership need to do better advertisements because not a lot of people know this place exist.
