I've tried everything on the menu,
and it's all great,.. but i LOVE the BBQ Chicken sandwich!
I was in yesterday and struck up conversation with a Reno PD officer who told me he just won a TRIP FOR 2 TO HAWAII courtesy of L&L !! 😀
He was stoked! Told me to write my name and number on the back of my receipt and drop it in the box! Done!
Chicken katsu wasnt thin and crispy enough. It was also sort of dry. Just didnt taste like authentic hawaiin bbq. Probably because there aren't many people of the culture here cooking it.

L&L Hawaiian BBQ offers fast service and friendly staff. While some dishes like the chicken and rice were a bit disappointing, the macaroni salad stood out as delicious. The seafood BBQ, however, had mixed reviews with some finding the fish sour and causing sickness. Customers appreciate the tasty food, especially the BBQ chicken or beef, garlic shrimp, and the Moco Loco, which was described as the best thing a customer had in a long time. Despite a quieter atmosphere compared to other locations, the small "restaurant" setting and good customer service make customers willing to return for another meal.
