15 Best Vietnamese Restaurants in Reno

“We just landed in Reno and this was the PERFECT place for us to get some grub. It was packed out on a Saturday night, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Vietnamese restaurant be this busy. Luckily our local friend had gotten us a table prior so we snuck past the line. They keep track on a standard notepad of when you walk in which I found amusing.
We got their shrimp spring rolls, hubby and I got pho and Bun Bo Hue.
Spring rolls were 5/5 - sauce was a perfect balance between hoisin and peanut. Soft and delicious.
First sip of pho broth almost took me out, just pleasant and on point.
This might’ve been THE best Bun Bo Hue I’ve ever had outside of my mother’s. That broth was delicious and everything about that dish was amazing. It was savory, spicy, herbs and everything nice. I could only eat half and took the other half home.
It was one of the best Viet restaurants I’ve been to in all my travel and I understand why they are so packed. Can’t wait to go back when I visit Reno again!“

“My family and I have frequented this restaurant for almost 20 years….. The food is fairly consistent and service we are provided never disappoints!
Since the owners retired, there has been slight changes in menu options and the flavorful chili oil! However, throughout the years they have always beaten most Vietnamese restaurants with FLAVOR, CONSISTENTLY GOOD SERVICE and PRICE!“

Many options to make the dishes more flavorfull and spicier as well. Great portion size for the price as well! Very happy this spot is right down the road from my work. “We went to Ijji Noodle House for my birthday last night and I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious, but more than that the customer service was amazing! Our server, Alexander, was attentive without being overbearing and was so much fun! Brent, the bartender, made me a birthday martini with 4 olives! It actually was my first martini ever and it was so sweet of him. If you want a wonderful, enjoyable, relaxed meal and love noodles like I do, this is the place to go.“

“Best Vietnamese restaurant in Reno. We ate here for the first time last night and can’t wait to go back. The two waitresses were so lovely and helpful. The food here taste like real Vietnamese food. The Cha Gio was the best tasting we have had since moving here 8 months ago. . We also had delicious Singapore noodles and a hot pot. We will go back often. Only thing we would wish to change is that we would love to see a bahn mi sandwich served here. I am sure it would be delicious. We have not had a good one since we moved here.“

“I came here after work with a big appetite, hoping to score some great food and meet some cute ladies. As with most Asian restaurants, the Fried Crab Rangoon was a great choice, and you KNOW you can't go wrong with the wantons. I also got the chicken with seasonal vegetable (which is apparently celery by the way) which was very tasty. As for sushi, I got the black dragon roll which SLAPS. And I couldn't leave without trying some Pho, so I got the steak and beef ball (heavy on the balls), and let me tell you, it CHANGED me.

Didn't meet any ladies because I was too focused on the incredible food I was given.

Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Can't wait to hit this place up next week. I also got this shirt from the gift shop! I will wear it with pride.“
