“I wanted it to be amazing and the service and most of what I was served was impressive but the Filet Mignon was dry and I was disappointed. I tried a slice of my friends short rib and it was very tender and flavorful. I will not let that first experience stop me from going back and trying a different dish. I have to give an overall score of 4 stars because of the dry steak. But I am sure my next visit and ordering a different dish will raise it to the 5 stars that it should have.“

“Excellent breakfast and service!! We ate here every morning on our vacation!! Every single staff member was on point the entire time! From the time we walked in, until we were done, everyone was very attentive and friendly. We talked about the service every day. The food was absolutely wonderful and if we’re ever back in the area we will most definitely be back at Ernie’s again!!“

“The place is very nice, small, but with a great vibe. We ordered the duck as a starter and it was lovely. For the mains, we had the coffee ribeye and the lamb. To be honest, they were just okay. I'm a big fan of lamb, and this one didn't feel cooked at its best (fat was chewy). The coffee ribeye was fine, but I was expecting something more unique in terms of flavor.“

“One of a kind of experience. You're so close if not right on the border of Nevada and California and you can sit and eat and look at both sides depending on what side of the building you're on. If you can ski and ski better than average you can get there. If you don't ski take the gondola from the lake below and enjoy the view from the gondola and lunch on the probably your highest point on the mountain...“

“Beautiful experience! I took my mom for a nice holiday dinner - we started with the pork belly with a nice pairing of strawberry salad. For entrees, we had the mushroom ravioli and the scallops - yum! Cooked perfectly, and the sauces were rich and flavorful, will definitely order these again! We passed on dessert, but a bottle of New Zealand Sauv Blanc was perfection as we delighted in the wonderful service. Will enjoy this place again and again!“
