“If cocktail magic had a home address, it would be The Craft 836, where the bartender wasn’t just a drink-slinger—oh no—this professional mixology wizard seemed to craft beverages with the finesse of someone who may or may not have trained with celestial beings. Every glass that left the bar glowed with the promise of happiness, good decisions, and possibly better posture. And then… the Craft and Jamaican dry rub chicken wings. Scrumptious doesn’t even begin to describe them. These wings strutted onto the table like they knew they were the star of the show—juicy, spicy, and seasoned so perfectly you’d swear they had their own PR team. Meanwhile, everything coming out of the kitchen looked so jaw-droppingly delicious it made me question every life choice that led me to not ordering that, that, and definitely that. Even the ordering app was a delight. A simple QR scan and—voilà!—this sixty-something woman was tapping, selecting, and paying with the grace of a digital native. No confusion. No panic. No accidentally ordering seventeen sides of fries. (Though honestly, that might not have been the worst fate.) Kudos to the staff and management—this place runs like a well–garlic-oiled machine: smooth, flavorful, and leaving you wanting more. Five stars, a happy belly, and a newfound confidence in QR codes. “My elderly uncle, his daughter, his lady friend, and I came here for a family meal, and overall it was a good meal with good service. I ordered the manicotti, with a house salad and garlic rolls, which was tasty but offered two meatballs or Italian sausages (I opted for the meatballs which were ok), and it could have used some Mozzarella or Provolone baked to cheesy perfection to finish it off right), and I did not receive any additional rolls although 4 were brought out while we waited for our drinks, of which we all ate one each. My uncle had the ziti with Italian sausages, which he enjoyed with another serving to take home. His daughter had the small (10”) pepperoni deluxe pizza, which looked and tasted good (but she/we admittedly are Art’s Jug fans!). My uncle’s lady friend had the sausage sub with loads of peppers and onions which she enjoyed. Again the food was overall good, the atmosphere is lively with families, friends, and couples, and the service was pleasant and good for a local restaurant with a long history in the community.“

They also run out of stuff which might just be typical for diners, but there is a joke in my house that I have to figure what I want second most when I order, because they are always out of my first choice.“

“Art's Jug has been has been one of Watertown New York's go to spots for dining for at least 50 years. Eat in or take out the food is always above par. One of their famous dishes is the anti pasta salad, you will see one on almost every table when you enter the establishment. They specialize in Italian dishes. Sit down, order up and enjoy, you will not be disappointed!“

“Friendly wait staff. Many food options. Had the Louisiana crab dip, mushroom swiss burger and the chicken fingers. All were very good. Large portion sizes at a good price. The Tully's IPA beer was really good. The pumpkin cheesecake was very good as well.

“We had a birthday party at Garland and it went perfectly! The food was so good and the service was amazing. We highly recommend this business whether you’re planning an event or just want to stop someplace for a drink and something to eat. The event coordinator Steph was a pleasure to coordinate with and quick to respond! Everyone from the wait staff to the owners will make you feel welcome and take fantastic care of you!“

“I hosted a surprise engagement party this last Saturday at 1812 on the River. Everything from the food, service and atmosphere were incredible. Michelle and her staff were phenomenal. The bartenders who worked the party for us on the 3rd floor were very attentive, friendly and accommodating! We had a variety of pizzas and appetizer dips and they were amazing - guests were very impressed. Highly recommend this venue for any party!“
