“Home Frite hit the spot. We were just passing through and thought the burger and fries joint looked good and it didn’t disappoint. Miranda took our order and was pleasant and friendly, providing great customer service. The atmosphere was chill with good music playing, but at a level that allowed conversation. It was clean and the seating was comfortable. It didn’t take long for our order to be ready and you can tell it was cooked to order unlike most fast food restaurants. I had the boneless wings which were delicious and my husband enjoyed his double cheeseburger. We shared the yummy, crispy fries as the portions were more than enough to feed us both. If you’re in the area and feeling hungry, stop in and enjoy a meal.“

“Great Shake Shack! I stopped here for dinner not too long ago, and I have no complaints. Plenty of parking out front, and tons of seating inside. The kiosk ordering was quick and efficient, and the food came our very quick. Not to mention, the employees were spectacular! One of the workers was even coming around to every table offering sauce packets and napkins. I tried the big shack, which was delicious, and my shake and fries were also amazing. The inside is clean and modern, with a bunch of seating, as I mentioned before. There is also outdoor seating. The thing I love about all Shake Shacks is that they always have a free water dispenser and cups. This is super convenient so that you don't have to pay extra for a drink. “The Nanuet White is hands down the best White Castle you can go to. I have been to countless White Castles in five different states and none of them come close to Nanuet, NY. The people here are always ready for the lunch rushes and constantly give back to the community, from simple posters on their windows to directly supporting the Ramsey district, they have played their part in uplifting our community. Homemade Hibiscus Iced Tea
Farm Burger

This country style cafe is located on the Abram Demaree Homestead farm. This building has been around since 1700s and was formerly a general store and tavern.

All of the menu items are freshly prepared in house using organic ingredients directly from the farm.

These are a couple of the lunch menu items I explored:

Homemade Hibiscus Iced Tea:
This herbal beverage has a reddish color; its appearance is different from an original iced tea.

The drink was very refreshing with a slightly tart taste.

Farm Burger:
This ounce angus patty includes lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and a secret sauce. I also added yellow American cheese for a $1 up charge.

I cannot identify the ingredients of the secret sauce, hence the name. It was really tasty and I requested a small extra cup on the side for dipping.

For the most part, this was a tasty burger. Next time, I will request to have the patty cooked medium well because I feel a well done burger compromises its flavor.

This cafe also serves as a farmers market; they sell grocery items such as homemade honey and farm fresh eggs. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend dining in so you can take in the country atmosphere.

Recently, while in Paramus I and my wife walked into the Fashion Center location and to our surprise we were seated promptly. “Multi level bar right near the Pearl River NJ Transit train station. The best part about this place is probably the rooftop. You must be 25 or older to be up on the rooftop. Got the chicken sandwich it was pretty good. Service was great. Gets packed on Friday and Saturday nights. Overall a good time.“
