We had three appetizers. Chicken wings. Onion rings. Calamari. The chicken wings were the best. The onion rings and calamari were decent, but not seasoned very well. Our table was ready when we arrived. The dinner menu and prices were comparable to other establishments in the area. Our server was efficient and the food arrived rather quickly. All food was good.
Food was okay. Beer selection lacked my usual favorite hefeweizen or non-IPA choices. Was hoping Common Roots would bring their better food menu with them and leave more Evans Ale beers in place.

The Albany Pump Station Historic Marker offers a casual dining experience with a decent selection of classic American fare. The chicken wings, burgers, and fish and chips are highlighted as the standout dishes, while the onion rings and calamari receive mixed reviews. The service is noted as efficient, and the overall atmosphere is described as fun. However, the beer selection is limited, and the food quality is not considered exceptional.
