Amatuli Sausage Company is a new lunch spot in the neighborhood that is outstanding and has quickly become a favorite. The garlic sausage is to die for, and the mustard and sauerkraut is delicious. The garlic sausage sandwich is simply phenomenal, and the maple chicken sandwich is a favorite lunch time sandwich with tender, juicy, sweet and savory meat. The red beans and rice is slightly spicy and filling. The sausages, bread, and pickled veggies are all 10/10. Everything is homemade and very impressive, with great in house sandwich rolls. The bread ratio is perfect, though the sides could be higher to hold the sausage and toppings fully. The chorizo sausages sandwich and Louisiana beef are flavorful, with scratch made bread. The gumbo has warmed customers to the core, and the Chaurice sausage sandwich can't be recommended enough. This affordable lunch spot has a low key and warm environment with great rotating options for sandwiches, soup, and beans/rice. A small shop down a little side street filled with wildly delicious food and a humble gentleman pursuing perfection in his craft.
