“Really nice place to get coffee. I have been here a few times. Waitstaff always seems a bit distracted, even when not busy. At any rate, they are always pleasant, place is clean, food and drinks have never been a problem. I never feel rushed here, which is nice. Great selection on menu.“
“Well, know, it sounds strange, every Starbucks is different. I had been spending my reading time at the one in Guilderland however, they depersonalized it taking away any signs of individuality such as blackboards, the cute name that the previous manager had for the location, and it now is completely homogeneous. Today I came to this location, and although it has some personality with one blackboard things like the trivia question and the rotating joke reasons for the purpose of the tip jar are long gone. This location is also much larger, less cozy, and the furniture is not as comfortable. Wooden chairs with minimal padding. The beverages were good. The next stop will be the one further east on Western Avenue and see if that still retains some individuality in a smaller cozier branch. “Stopped in for a quick coffee and snack with my mom. Haven’t been to this location in a while and it looks like they changed it a little bit. Looks very good clean we were greeted as we walked in the door and the service was excellent. The person working even offered to put our drinks in real glasses and our food on plates and she brought it over to us and everything was lovely.“

“Ryan IS quality. I went on 9/19/25 at 1030ish in the morning. Ordered on app, it's packed. There were roughly 10 employees behind the counter. The scene looked at little chaotic, EXCEPT for Ryan. Bro is calm, cool, collected working the machine like his hands have hands and his fingers have fingers. Unfortunately, he was not the first one to make my Americano. I took a sip and it was delicious, don't get me wrong, but I had ordered it hot and it came in a hot cup but was cold. Not just look warm, it was like it was made iced and someone realized their mistake and just poured it into a hot cup. I HATE being that guy who returns food or beverages especially when I just watched two other customers do it and watched Ryan handle it with the dignity and respect of Gatsby himself. So I just figured I would ask this gentleman if I could get it steamed. He takes a look at it and says nah, I'm going to remake this drink too because steaming it is not going to give the quality it deserves for the customer. This guy. This mint of a man went above and beyond to ensure quality, and customer experience was not remotely sacrificed. And he did it not by degrading anyone around him, but instead he carefully and thoughtfully reminded some to keep an eye on the quality of drinks as they are made demonstrating great leadership. “I never had Starbucks coffee. I stopped and I had my daughter who loves acai strawberry ?. Theirs young lady name Sky, she made me Carmel crunch.. fell in love with it.. Sky n I had conversation about different types of drinks. My daughter loves everything that Sky makes for her. I've been ✋stopping in almost everyday on my way to work (CDTA) .( I picked one up for co worker he loved it wanted me bring him more) . I used to stop DD can't compare.. sorry!! “I'm a student at UAlbany and needed a dessert/pick-me-up.The espresso machine was down when I went and they only had cold drinks.I'm not a frequent Starbucks customer and I didn't know what sizes you can get for every drink. I was about to get a smaller size and then I was told I could get the BIG one! The employee was patient with my ignorance.I got a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappe and between the brain freezes it was like heaven. Or whatever equivalent you believe in. Or maybe you don't believe in an afterlife...it just tastes great, alright.GREAT!“
“The young man with the tattoos at the register was so kind! He gave me my entire order for free because he felt like being nice! This is not the first time I’ve had this experience either. While the girls making my food and drinks were a bit unprofessional (cursing, talking on the phone, slamming down orders) they still made it in a timely fashion and the drink was very good!“
“Ive been coming here most mornings for the last 3 years, with the exception of today I've never had any issues. I order, they hand me my food and coffee. Easy and quickly. One worker (mark) chose to berate me for making the mistake of holding my hand out for what I thought was my sandwich, like every other day I've been here. He was very rude in his interaction. The rest of the staff have never so much as implied offense. I've managed retail locations 25 years. You don't treat customers in that manner. I'll make sure to avoid interactions with him in the future.“
