“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)”

“My favorite ramen in the area! Something about their broth is much tastier and flavorful than the other ramen places I've had in the area. Visited twice already and ordered delivery and the ramen consistently good. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the bubble tea. I got the matcha milk tea and it didnt taste good. The pearls were very bland and too hard for my liking. Always get bubble tea at a designated bubble tea place 😆”

“I love this place but please if you guys see this review, my wife and I love your bagels but my wife just got diagnosed with Celiac which means she can't have anything with gluten anymore, if you guys can come up with a gluten free bagel option so that she can have her nova sandwich that will be great! You might already have the option but we just don't know about it so please if you see this review reply and let us know. My wife and I love the Nova sandwiches with the pickles and potato salad on the side, I have told all my clients about you guys, everytime someone asks what's a good bagel place that I know I brag about you guys. I have sent more than 12 people to your place the last 4 months! I will keep doing so but please look into gluten free options if you don't already have them!! Thanks guys!

“Stopped by Grillmark for the first time and had a great experience. The space is clean, modern, and has a relaxed feel that fits perfectly with the whole fresh and healthy concept. The service is great.

We tried a variety of items starting with the Healthy Glow and Green Machine which were both refreshing and a great way to start. The Italian market salad was loaded and really filling, and the Greek salad had all the classics done right. We also had the Mexican salad in a pita which was fresh and something a little different.

For mains, the turkey burger and salmon burger were both solid, clean options that still delivered. The buffalo chicken sandwich added a nice kick. The house made gyro chicken with tzatziki kept things simple and fresh.

We also tried an assortment of skewers including steak, pork, chicken, lamb chops, salmon, shrimp, and swordfish which gave a great mix of everything. The side of house made quinoa tied it all together nicely.

Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for clean, fresh, and filling meals made with quality ingredients. Definitely worth checking out”

“Go here everyday, the parkway mix ice coffee is amazing, always a line to get bacon egg and cheese sandwiches but it goes by really fast and the staff is super friendly and on point with the orders. Highly highly recommend the food and coffees here, you can’t go wrong with anything.”

“Since moving to Va from NY, I always have made a stop to pick up bagels for the way home. This is by far my favorite place! I order the day before and my bagels are fresh warm and packed in freezer bags ready to go. They freeze great and toast up fresh! And always get my favorite salt bagel with veggie cream cheese to go! I love their veggie cream cheese because the veggies are not shredded. My granddaughter loves the iced coffee, it’s amazing! The place is clean and the staff are personable and quick in getting your order ready. I’m on the train now heading home eating now. Until December ...”

“I like to read the other reviews before posting. Many low reviews complained about the service, but I'm posting this review because I've always had great service. After only a few times coming to this location the staff (a woman) knew my order. Nobody has ever messed up my order and I've never had to wait an excessive amount. I come here for breakfast food, coffee, tea, and the occasional donut. I would recommend this location. I feel like the employees care about the customers.”

“The staff and the food was amazing! My family and I went to celebrate my birthday. The host Mia and Elena was delightful and our server Minerva was gracious and accommodating. The manager Michael then gave us the birthday special which was the song and celebration along with a comped meal for me (with ID). Amazing!”

“This place is amazing!!!! I went with my grandmarents for dinner and I orderd the Branzino Francese AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! The garlic linguine went beautifully with the lemon wine sauce and was filling too!

The sevice was fantasic as well, the waitress made sure our table was taken care of very well!

And dont even get me started on the ambiance! this is the perfect spot for a date night, family event, or even if your out with your friends!

All and all it is a very chill and fun place to hang out and get some great food! I reccomend it to all!”

“My goodness, we recently moved into the neighborhood and we have tried a few sushi joints in the past couple of months. We have tried Mr. J's several time and I must say, it's probably the best sushi in the area. The quality of the ingredients is very good, extremely fresh, they use very little rice so you can actually taste the ingredients, and they roll the sushi really tightly so that it doesn't fall apart if you breathe a little too close.

The owners are extremely friendly, the restaurant clearly focuses on the quality of their takeout since they don't have any tables, which is great because they can focus on cranking out bags and bags of orders. The more you order, they give you free rolls which is really nice. Even my kid, who is a little picky, crushes his spicy kani rolls, not a single grain of rice left, which makes me really happy. Nothing fancy, but they consistently serve great quality food and service with a friendly smile. Can't ask for anything more.

I am a little curious about the name, who's Mr. J? J-San would have made more sense but since they make good food, I'll respectfully call them whatever they want me to.”
