It's not that easy to find a decent evening meal in Alexandria Bay on a Monday night late in the season. Not that many places were open, and the first three I tried were packed with noisy crowds people waiting for a table. I was walking along James Street, resigned to eating pizza when I noticed that the Homestead's interior lights were on. My husband and I ate there last night. We enjoyed the outdoor dining and ambiance.The lobster dip and chips were so yummy!We both ordered a fish sandwich. I especially loved the tartar sauce but honestly the fish itself didn't have much taste. It wasn't bad but it could've been better.Overall I would still recommend and would stop go back to try other items in the menu.Service was wonderful! We felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer.
