“My cousins rehearsal dinner was held here, gem of a dive bar in a lovely college town that has that new england charm w/o actually being in new england. Cheap drinks and above average bar food, the dance floor is large and jukebox selection is pretty sweet.“
“Nice, small place. Beer menu is diverse, it's clean, service was really good and prompt. You can order a 10" pizza from a lot of choices and it came hot and yummy. Recommend if you are in Hornell and need a beer and pizza. Brews to go too... good quality true to style.“

They played the shout song every score! We wished we lived closer to this place because we’d go every week! One of the best Tavern’s I’ve been to in a while.“

“Stopped in there today. Been here a couple years ago under the previous owner whom I knew. Anyhow we ordered the Birdsall Burger Bash which was a double burger served with a side in this case we chose onion Rings. It was cooked perfectly and it's the best onion rings we had in quite some time. To start things off we both ordered a side salad which was a very generous and appetizing one for a measly $3.00!. Our waitress was a gem. I think her name was Christa? Anyhow, very welcoming and she even spent time with us and gave us the run down of the area and very personable. It showed in her tip. In all, we enjoyed ourselves very much and will return. Apparently this place is better known for its Fish Fry's, Prime Rib on Saturdays and delectable Chicken wings with a very unique sauce. It's all priced right. Didn't break the bank. Accepts all Credit Cards. ATM on site. I will say this place is definitely in the middle of no where. That happens to be their "slogan" and it's so true. The place recently went through a major renovation and they've done a tremendous job. Cloth table linens and napkins is a huge plus. Restrooms are absolutely spotless! Nice job BI! . Def worth the time and trip! I wish I had my phone to take pics. Next time I will.“

“Quirky home-in-the wall filled with student artwork and odd sculptures. Amazing array of beers (on tap and in bottle) and full bar of alcohol. You can do an "around the world" tour for beer and whiskey. Mug night and well drinks cater to college crowds; a great watering hole for adults until about 9:30/10:00pm (then college students come in)Staff is friendly, local. They recognize regulars.
