We had the opportunity to dine at BNB Fish and Clam in Amityville during Lent, and the experience delivered on both quality and flavor. My wife and I both ordered the flounder, prepared two different ways, which made the meal even more memorable.
She chose the blackened flounder, which had a well balanced spice that added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the fish. I went with the breaded flounder, and it was crisp, flavorful, and cooked just right.
The mashed potatoes brought everything together with a smooth texture and rich taste that complemented both dishes. This was a well executed meal that showed attention to detail and consistency. The portions were very generous. I look forward to coming back.

Four for dinner Saturday 6pm. It was 30 minutes before a waitress came but after that service was OK. I had the shrimp piccatta with artichoke special. There were 5 very large shrimps with brocolli and mash potatoes which were pretty good. Very buttery. The baked clams oregbatta was very good. Bread can be upgraded. Wines were mediocre thiugh affordable. My husband's Cajun style seafood came with a large bowl of seafood and corn on the cob. He liked it but said the Cajun sauce was very salty. I was very disappointed with the chocolate cake. It tasted very processed. Our friends had Cajun halibut which looked very good. It is noisy inside as the dining area is on the small side.

Second time around not so good. We were rushed out still eating and the waitress came over to wrap up our food. I was disappointed considering the food was delicious. We didn't finish our food just wrapped it up and went home. Definitely will have to find another local spot.

everyone is super nice, accommodating and knowledgeable at b&b. my kid absolutely loved being shown a huge lobster
B & B Fish and Clam is an excellent spot for a relaxed, satisfying meal. Alicia, my waitress, took great care of me by being friendly, amicable, and very helpful in guiding my choice. I went with the broiled salmon served with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was attentive without being overbearing, which really added to the overall experience. For dessert, I tried the chocolate cake, which was delicious, nice and spongy with a rich, yummy taste that finished the meal on a high note. I highly recommend this place for casual dining, a comfortable date night, or even takeout if you want a great meal at home.

Very fresh and well prepared seafood. My friends and I really enjoyed everything we ordered. However, I found the price to be a bit high for the amount of food received. For instance, we ordered jumbo shrimp scampi and it was over $40. Very tasty, but very pricey.

I have to say I was really disappointed after eating their food. This place came in very recommended and we were excited to try their seafood. It was takeout and service folks seemed very friendly but the food was soooo bland. I had better seafood from a gyro cart. The seasoning was non existent. The fried fish had no flavor/ salt at all. The chips were fine. Even the stuffed potato was bland. I m heartbroken. Thought we found a solid seafood spot on the island. Go at your own risk
