They had a Facebook ad telling about their calamari parmigan hero, which sounded great. I was worried about reheating the calamari, if it became tough. We'll I didn't have to reheating it. It was tough when it was fresh. Nice idea but won't get it again.

Carmelina's Pizzeria & Gelateria offers big flavor and a big selection at reasonable prices. This place lived up to the hype. The best pizza on Long Island in a while, it reminded one guest of the old Spasso's of Copiague with bread crumbs on the crust. The thin crispy crust stands up, with excellent vibrant sauce and cheese that distinguishes itself. It is the best pizza period, with a crust that is crispy where it needs to be and soft where it needs to be—perfection. The BEST Gluten Free pizza has a crunchy crust, amazing sauce, and good cheese. The calzone is excellent too. The drink selection is pretty good with lots of options, and the dessert is great with staples like zeppoles and gelato, plus fried Oreos and slices of cake like cheesecake, rainbow cookie cake, and red velvet. The staff is accommodating, friendly, and always makes the pizza exactly as asked.
