“Met a girlfriend for a quick Christmas breakfast…That lasted 2.5 hrs. This deli was suggested by my husband for a great breakfast and nice relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted with smiles from staff and other customers. Placed our orders, grabbed fresh brewed coffee and awaited yummy French Toast, perfect cooked bacon, veggie & ham omelet, & potatoes cooked just right. “Our first visit to the Taconic Wayside Inn, An absolute pleasure! Our appetizers were amazing! Mozzarella sticks and Garlic Parmesan wings were absolutely cooked perfectly!We also had the Chicken Parmigiana and the Scallop Nantucket… both also prepared with love and perfection.Our waitress was attentive and extremely friendly. It was wonderful that her daughter worked alongside her as well. Their food is unique and has fun names!I got the Mexican burger with bacon, waffle fries, and a drink. Hubs got the Cowboy burger with sweet potato fries, and a drink.The flavor is out of this world. The atmosphere is so fun -- a juke box, retro decor, a more private area good for families with kids games. Great ambiance. “My partner and I love this store for all it's local products, clean layout, and the staff are very friendly. You'll find a simple coffee and tea station, local groceries, ready to go sandwiches and deli eats. And we love the assortment of unconventional cooking condiments, spices, etc. from the Asian continent because we often cook with those. It's great having a grocer who carries those harder finds. This store adds an element of 'cool' to Copake that quite literally adds diverse flavors to our community. Definitely stop in and see the owner, Seung--she's great!”

“Just a really great find. An old fashioned stand alone diner in a great little town. I’ve been there twice and had a really nice young girl server. She was very friendly and informative about local attractions.Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps to get in and the bathroom wouldn’t be wheelchair accessible.”

“My first experience with Stissing House was for my birthday dinner with friends and it did not disappoint- we had a mixed group of people who drink and people who don’t and there was a great selection for both- I had a salted lime mock-tail -I believe — and it was perfect. I also had their chips, pickled vegetables as sides, coal roasted scallops in green butter sauce our meal came with perfectly dressed watercress - it was all quite tasty- sadly I was not able to eat any of the desserts due to dietary restrictions I wish I didn’t have to follow- but the group said they were delicious! The staff went out of their way to make my birthday a special occasion- they went above and beyond—- I will always be so appreciative and thankful for that!Our small group loved everything they drank and every dish they ordered. The candle lit tables and minimalist colonial vibes, and being able to sit and watch their beautiful open kitchen is an experience in its own. And also must add- most of their dishes are cooked over wood fires?! Highly recommend.Parking: Parking lot is behind the restaurant.”

“Their pizza gets all the stars amazing. We also had jalapeno poppers they were not so great as I think they were in the freezer for 2 months. The garlic knots fantastic as well. The service was horrible the waitress seemed like she had no interest I get it was a Wednesday night and it was slow but she never even came over to see if we needed any more drinks or anything. I'm sure on a busy night like the weekends they are better staffed so I wouldn't hold that against them I will definitely be back because that pizza was amazing”

“Really nice atmosphere when you walk in, the waitress was very attentive and kind. The food was the best part, me and my gf ordered the chicken sandwich and it was great. Been awhile since we've had a really good chicken sandwich that wasn't greasy or oversized to the point that it overtakes the other toppings on the sandwich. If this place wasn't so far from Hartford I'd be going here more often.”

“This is a more laid-back restaurant in the Four Brothers chain. The family pizza recipe is delicious and uniquely their own. This location is neat and clean but has not had the facelift of the others so stepping inside is loke being transported back a generation. My favorite stop in Millerton.”

“I was very surprised how good my lunch was. The kitchen (take out side) was clean! This is not always the case with Chinese food kitchens. Traveling through town I stopped here despite the low star rating. I got the general Tao chicken lunch and it was maybe the best I've ever had. The chicken was sweet but spicy and the fried rice was perfectly cooked. Not sure when I will be back in town but I would definitely stop again.”

“Wow. for a dunkin inside of a gas station i’ve never been more pleased with an experience. first of all, we came in 10 minutes before closing, so an angelic young employee gave us our much needed iced coffees free of charge! (don’t worry, we tipped the amount of the cost). not one coffee in my life has ever made me happier. on a six hour long car ride from vermont to nyc, this coffee came right in time. and with a great interaction with an employee, i felt like for a moment, everything was right in the world. Thank you dunkin.”
