“Love this place! Its so tasty and flavorful and served so fresh. A lot of Afghan places serve dry meat but I've been coming here for years and the meat has always been juicy and flavorful. The place has always looked the same, no renovations or anything but honestly, I don't mind it because the food is reasonably priced AND it's good.“

“Amazing service and amazing food. One of the best Afghan restaurants in NYC to be honest. The salmon kebab and Adana kebabs are really good. It’s a cozy restaurant and they do take out and larger orders too for pick up. It’s better if you pay cash versus on card for taxes.“

“I had a really disappointing experience at New Aria Kabab. The food was cold by the time it reached the table, and the meat tasted dry and overcooked. On top of that, the service was slow even though the place wasn’t busy. Definitely not worth the price.“

“I went here with a friend for lunch. There is a reasonable amount of seating and the the interior is clean and decorated nicely. We had the mantu as an appetizer and it was soooo good! I had the chicken chapli kebab with white rice, which was mildly spicy, which I like.“

“Features traditional Afghan Food in a cozy space.
Food:
- Recommend getting the Sambosa (Fried Dumpling) appetizer, crispy and flavorful, and the Kabuli Palow (Afghan national rice dish) with kebabs (tender and flavorful)
- The Aushe Burida is risky, I personally thought it was overly sour and the taste reminded me of stomach acid...
Atmosphere:
- The space is small with ~10ish small tables, nothing fancy but acceptable, a local kind of feel“

“We’re in the neighborhood every few years and come here semi-regularly. Just ordered the vegetarian plate and was really delighted by the different vegetables. Cooked thoughtfully, great flavor. The kebab are also quite good.“

“An absolutely wonderful Afghan dining experience! The food was rich in flavor, beautifully spiced, and clearly made with care and tradition. The kabobs were tender and juicy, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, just like a traditional Afghan meal. The service was kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.“

“Ordered take out and it was ready within 10min. The chicken pita sandwich was so delicious. And the fries were similar to steak fries, and very plentiful. I ordered from door dash so got a BOGO for fries. The place has some seating, i didn’t spend much time inside but looks like a clean place. Definitely would come back for takeout. The food is a good value. .“

“I love Lasani restaurant. Their prices are very reasonable and so when my husband and I are looking to eat out but not fancy it’s our go-to spot. Food is delicious, veg and non veg options, fast service. I like the environment, casual dining. Open late, too! Lasani is one of my favorite restaurants in Jersey City. When I want to eat out in a casual way, this is my spot. Highly recommend the roti!
Vegetarian options: I love the Chana, sometimes they have different veggies like cauliflower, spinach, depends on the day. Their roti is vegan and it’s soooo soft and good.
Parking: Easy to park“

“Overall we had a great meal. The lamb was a bit too strong in flavor and aroma for my taste but I enjoyed everything else. The Afghan naan was so interesting ) crispy on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside). The grilled meat was flavorful, the dumplings and the sauce were good, and the eggplant ended up being my favorite dish. The portions were generous, especially the rice, and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. We also got the house made pistachio pudding for dessert, and it was good without being too sweet.“
