They used to have the best Gigantes Plaki (Baked Lima Beans) in Astoria but they tweaked the recipe. Now the dish is spicy! You maybe can add a little paprika to give it a smoky-sweet tang without being overtly spicy. Or even a little chili powder. But not a Mexican pepper ?️ which changes the flavor profile completely! Delicious food, clean areas, affordable prices, good service from the waiters, but the air conditioning did not supply both areas and with the heat of the wine and the summer heat, it was uncomfortable to stay in that restaurant.
