“Amazing place. So invited. You walk in and it feels like family. The staff, especially the owner, are all wonderful. I go there with my 1 year old daughter and always get the vegan Spinach pie. OMG sooooo freaking good. I can eat so many of them but I restrict myself to one. Even my daughter loves it. She gets so happy when we stroll on into the cafe because she knows what that means. I hope to try other items but just can’t let go of that spinach pie. Ugh so good lol“

Their coffee is also perfect.

“I frequented this cafe years ago when I temporarily lived in Astoria while on mission in New York. I loved this place and the people who worked there were wonderful. I haven't been since but I do hope to return sometime soon! I'm positive that they're the same great establishment they were in 2019!!! I 100% recommend this place and still think about it! “We came in after a meal a Zyara's, and it was filled with guys who seemed like regulars! What attracted us was the gelato for $3 a scoop! Where can you get a cone of chocolate gelato at that price anymore? She was kind, the place was a throwback but in a good way. Perfect end to a cold winter evening in Astoria!“

“Don't let Gandalf's scowling face discourage you! This pastry cafe is a MUST GO. We tried a little of everything, but my personal favorite (so far), was the pizza croissant. I've had A LOT of pastry in my time (my son went to the Culinary Institute and he's a pastry fanatic), but I swear to you, Elevenses' croissants are AMAZING. The pizza croissant had a little heat, a little tomato and a little cheese but BIG FLAVOR. I know it's annoying when someone capitalizes stuff for emphasis and I have never done it before so you can imagine, I'm not messing around. If you love flavor, freshness, an attention to every detail in every bite, you must try this place. It's a little out of the way, but honestly, it's a reason to come to Astoria. Manon, move over, Elevenses pastry has taken the prize.
BTW, just found out Georgia's landlord is being a brute and Elevenses will soon close. SAVE ELEVENSES!!!! I don't know what to do, but the thought of losing this treasure of pastry delights hurts my heart. If you have a special occasion coming up, give her a call and order as much as possible soon.
