So glad we tried this place! Food was soo good! Complimentary chips and salsa (fresh and a bit on the spicier side) Nachos Texanos with beef. Woah the meat was so tender!! Loved it!! Enchiladas with chicken (green sauce). The chicken was really tasty. There are 4 enchiladas but they were not too big or overstuffed. This was just okay for me. This 5 star review is based on ordering out, dining in and dining outside since 2013. I come here whether it be for lunch, happy hour or just a craving for a tostada. Everything about this spot is authentic, from the waitresses to the food ... hence why I keep going back. Last night we held our Friendsgiving here and it did not disappoint. The margaritas were on point and all the food was delicious. Definitely one of the best AND cheapest Mexican spots in Astoria hands down!

Cecina burrito = HeavenThe food at El Mariachi is solid and they give you a lot for your money. I ordered the cecina (salty beef) burrito ? and it was not only delicious but also MASSIVE. You can easily make two meals out of it.I'm looking forward to trying some other dishes.
