This beautiful and simple restaurant focuses on seasonal ingredients, creating a unique Omakase experience by Chef Jay. Known for its exquisite dishes, Koyo is perfect for a romantic outing, with impeccable service and a great Sake selection. The gold tier Omakase features three otsumami, twelve nigiri, a temaki, and dessert, with each otsumami course crafted with detail that can be tasted. A miso soup made with fresh eel is served to cleanse the palate before dessert, enhancing the overall experience. Though some diners have noted that the presentation is barebones and portions are small, the quality of the fish is excellent. This gem of a restaurant remains a culinary masterpiece, deserving of its five-star reviews, especially as it looks for a new location following lease expiration.
