“I’ll give 5 stars because I want them to stay in business !!!! But they need to change something.
*****IT USED TO BE 5 STARS*****, I used to go at night all the time when the dude that didn’t speak English worked there. But now for the last few months, he’s gone, and the pizza was NOT GOOD the last 3 times I went over the last couple months. Only at night I have eaten here. So i couldn’t tell you about the daytime.
In restaurant business, things need to be consistent, too bad no restaurants are really like this. Because people change up all the time. One little thing can change A LOT in food prep/cooking. I know. I’ve been in restaurant business for 10+ years… hope you guys can fix whatever was wrong with the pizza. I miss it lol“

“Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! Amazing owners and such a delight to have in valley steam!! The owner explained the ingredients and concept to my husband and his friend. They can’t back telling us so about it!“

“Walked in with my co workers after working in the area and decided to check it out. Right when you walk in you know your at a good pizza spot and Eddie is the man…very nice guy and everythings made fresh no pies just sitting around for hours…perfect crispy crust and you cant beat the lunch special!“

“I came in for a meeting and the atmosphere was so calm that me and the people I was meeting with were able to get everything done. The food was a plus since the food here is very good. We got the margarita pie and chicken tikka pie. Both were very good with their signature sauce. 10/10 must come again.“

“La Pizzeria & Bagel in Valley Stream is a fantastic neighborhood spot! Their bagels are fresh and perfectly bakek. The pizza is always tasty, and they also serve excellent pasta dishes and hearty, flavorful soups that are perfect for a cozy meal. The variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone. The staff is friendly, and service is consistently fast and welcoming. A great go-to for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!“

I love this Rockaway Beach pizza spot. The pizza itself was fantastic - generous they are with the toppings, and that cheese pull was absolutely divine. The crust had the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and the sauce had just the right amount of tang. I am satisfied after a day in the sun!“

“It's our first time here, we wanted a more regular style of pizza vs the regular Danni's pizza that we normally get in the neighborhood so we decided to give this one a shot. There pene slice was delicious and the garlic knots were fabulous, best ones I've had yet actually. We also ordered a cheese slice and the pepperoni , I found the pizza to be to floppy I would have preferred more of a slight crunch and sturdy slice. But none the less it satisfied my craving for a classic regular NY slice“

I lived right on that block, and Joe’s was always there. Growing up in Brooklyn in the 90s, this was the spot for a slice, a drink, something good to eat, and those arcade memories.
The pizza had that real New York flavor, and to me it had that old-school Italian taste that just hit different. The cheese, the sauce, that smell when you walked in — man... once you smelled it, you already knew you were getting something good 😂
Honestly, not just the pizza either. Everything I remember from there tasted good. I moved away, but I still miss Joe’s. Places like this stay with you.
Highly recommend it to anybody in the area. Real Brooklyn memories right here. 🗽🍕 I'll be back one day.“
