“We dropped by Ace's Pizza around 3pm., Brooklyn, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Ave NYC and it was such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating—amazing service all around. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Caesar Salad, and a 14-inch Pepperoni Pizza. Every single item was delicious! The quality of the food was outstanding. The pepperoni pizza especially stood out—crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. We really enjoyed everything we ordered, and the overall vibe of the place made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving great pizza!“

“This has been my wife’s and my favorite spot since they opened. The atmosphere is very chill and beautiful, the staff go above and beyond and the food is always phenomenal. The Forest pizza is a fav, definitely recommend, and their seasonal specials are always worth checking out. For drinks try out an amaro or the Little Italy. Just don’t go when we’re going, so it’s easier for us to get a table ;)“

“Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! Their white honey & cheese is good but only because of the white sauce. Wasn’t a huge fan of the crust but it’s good when the pizza is fresh from the oven. Crust is paper thin. “Got the VCR 16 pie. The Cesar salad with chicken cutlet and parm garlic bread sticks. Pizza was definitely above average a smash between old world and modern style. Thin crust but not to thin. Bread sticks were classic the side garlic butter sauce is a nice complement.

The Cesar salad is as advertised incredible. 100% recommend. Dressing and cheese is perfect.
On 4 stars for service because they didnt have to go utensils at all, even when asked.

The crispiest crust and So incredibly digestible, because it’s sourdough. Sourdough is fermented and your gut loves fermented food… Love their little gem lettuce salad with their homemade dressing. “I was in town for a day and didn’t realize there was a manhattan location but wanted to try them so bad I travelled 40 mins to Brooklyn and it was SO WORTH IT! They even gave me an extra slice 🥹 I did the sweet Thai chili oxtail and the brown stew oxtail pizza and it was so good even the crust was delicious on its own! I see why this place went viral now! “I live in Franklin square. And I tried every pizza spot in the area and surrounding towns. I could never find a consistent solid regular slice with no flop. Nobody takes pride in pizza making anymore. Everybody seems to be focusing on specialty pies, rolls, pinwheels etc…. I just wanted a classic regular, crispy, tasty slice. And I finally found that here! I walked into the place as a stranger, and I left as a family member…. Eddie, the owner, was the nicest person I had ever met. He treated me like family the second I walked in…. He reminded me of my dad, but actually nicer lol. People like Eddie, don’t exist anymore. He’s a machine and a great pizza maker. Runs the entire operation by himself ! 6 days a week from 11-9. Must respect to him.“

“I've been fortunate to experience this restaurant a multitude of times from 2018 to now I've had so many memorable meals at Wheated (and even pickup experiences during lockdown were highlights at the time).

I've never seen a dip in the level of quality, service or attention to customer satisfaction. This is despite the huge influx in business they've received over the past couple years, that was well deserved and long overdue.

Drinks are a strong suit and i always find a whiskey that I've never tried as they have an eclectic and constantly rotating selection. Pizzas are always so consistent and just the right amount of chewiness and flavor for my personal taste. The specials go quickly most nights so consider trying something different if they are available.

If I ever move away from the area, Wheated will be one of the things I miss the most. Never had a less than friendly experience with the staff and the coziness of the location is unmatched.“

The polpette and arugula salad were great starters to share; there are only two meatballs to an order, but they’re larger in size so you could split the portion if you’re a group of 3 or 4. The Diavola pizza was tasty, not too spicy. A little on the pricey side, but it’s a great spot for a group or date night.
