“My grandparents could not drive past this place without s to stopping. It was always a treat for my dad and his brothers. With a heavy heart, they are gone now. I would drive from Michigan to New York every other month to visit. My second to the last visit, my grandmother said she wanted Polk a Dots on my last visit I stopped, my wife and I ate, before we left, I got one to go. I drove straight to grandmas with that sandwich! She loved it sooo much. a few months later she passed at 98 years old. Her last take out sandwich was a Polk a dot beef on weck!“
“Being honest, I wasn't really expecting much from here. I merely decided to stop on my trip from DC to Toronto and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness. After being quickly seated with immediate service, we were provided with great tasting, hot food and coffee. I was even more shocked with how polite, *beautiful*, well spoken, friendly the servers were. Yes - plural. With the table behind me complaining about the simplest of things and acting as if it was the biggest let down in their entire life, their waitress maintained a certain professionalism that I myself would be the first to admit that could never be sustainable... And she did it with a smile!!! I was truly amazed. There are not enough stars to give for how impressed I was with my whole visit.“
“Stopped by with the family, one of which had a hard fought victory in football and was super hungry, and what we discovered is a true gem of a restaurant that we will definitely be frequenting going forward. Great food, fast ticket times, a cozy ambiance that was 100% welcoming, and a wonderful waitstaff that was on point service wise all added up to a fine family meal that hit the post game victory spot just right.“
“Very cool place. We were off to a wedding and happened to drive past, so we stopped. Hidden Gem. The owner was involved and super kind/sweet. Staff was fast and alert with cleaning up and getting what we needed. Seemed like a lot of regulars were in and had tons of smiles. Which to be honest made the experience even better, you could see that this place is a special place to locals.“
“Lovely small town cafe… very reasonably priced with great service.. they gave extra home fries with out croissant sandwiches as the chef felt we weren’t given enough in the beginning. We were full, but gladly ate the extras home fries. Will definitely come back again if we are in town. Note.. they take cash only but have an ATM in the restaurant.“
“5 star rating for Sport of Kings family resturant in Batavia NY. I met a friend for lunch and I ordered the Greek salad entree along with a cup of loaded pepper soup. The soup was delicious and was filled with stuffed green peppers. The salad was fresh filled with feta cheese plenty of chicken Greek olive onion tomatoe with a large portion of lettuce . Plenty to take home and to enjoy the next day. The Pita bread was nice and warm soft and good. The hostess was friendly greeted us and there wasn't a wait time. Server was Profesional friendly and helpful. The resturant was clean and I love the nice sized parking lot provided.which is steps from the resturant. Thank you Sport of Kings for a pleasurable dining experience.“
