Diners near Oshawa

“Kate and I love to get out and explore - looking for a new spot for a late lunch, we found "Diamond's Grill".
In the South part of Oshawa it is in a small strip mall in the company of a great Polish Deli, Barber Shop, etc.
We had "brunch" - Jay, the owner, took great care of us. Eggs, omelet, bacon, etc. and honestly, the best coffee we have had in a very long time; anywhere.
This is a small family business that has been in this location for about 13 years after moving from closer to downtown Oshawa and originating at Coxwell and Queen, many years ago.
I can't say enough good about the place - you can see the pride Jay has in his establishment. Their family is also very community minded - fundraising and supporting a number of different charities in the neighbourhood.

Parking: Strip mall parking in front of the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: We didn't have any kids with us but I am sure that they would be enthusiastically welcomed.“
