“Visited Medina and had the best fish fry! I grew up in Medina, and have fond memories of Rudy's from the late 80s. Visiting recently, we stayed at the Hart House Hotel across the street, and walked over for both dinner and breakfast the next day. Walking in, we were greeted by the same waitress I remember serving us back then! In a small way, you can go home again! I think this place would feel like home even if you weren't from Medina.“
“We had a fantastic dinner at the Country Club Family Restaurant! It was late and we missed out on the pot roast so I ate some breakfast! My friend sipped on some fantastic French onion soup and a grilled cheese sammich! Mackenzie was our waitress and was a delight! Fantastic service and the atmosphere was awesome! We throughly enjoyed our visit! Thank you!“
“I'm not a fan of Medina. Sorry. I'm just not. Having grown up in small town America I'm completely over the "in the middle of nowhere" vibe small townships like this place throw off.One thing you can always count on in small town USA though is a family oriented restaurant that has excellent friendly quick service with a smile a bottomless cup of coffee and excellent "home cooked" meals. Captain Kidz does not disappoint and gives you this down home feel without even trying. The atmosphere is friendly and bustling. The staff is friendly and familiar (even if like myself you happen to be a complete stranger) and the food is superb. Nothing too fancy but fulfilling and priced just right. My favorite part is they're open early for the before work crowd. If you find yourself in near Medina NY Captain Kidz is definitely worth checking out. You'll enjoy the nostalgia (if you grew up small town) you'll leave full and it doesn't break the bank. 6 outta 5 stars for this place. My go to for breakfast while I'm trapped here.“
