Great liquor selection as well as beer and other beverage selection they are open till 3 AM and always have great music you can play games at the bar and they have a great selection of things to eat and the kitchen is open super late as well which is really great especially after long concerts at the Capitol theater this is always a great place you don’t have to rush to get out and eat some thing. “It's Saturday afternoon, my wife and I were in the Glen Head and Sea Cliff area. We decided to have a light lunch locally. My wife had been to Gallagher's Pub in Sea Cliff the previous night with her girlfriends and thought they had great food. We walked in to a quaint Irish pub and were greeted by Marcus. He smiled and remembered my wife from the night before. We sat down and viewed the menu. Nice selection of food and drinks. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a soda and I had Smithwick beer. A good Irish ale. We decided on the French onion soup. It was served hot and was delicious! We ate and talked and some of our friends came in and visited with them. Good times. My wife was full after the soup , so she ordered some French fries. I ordered a buffalo chicken burger with onion rings. I thought I try something different the chicken burger was great and the onion rings were perfect. We enjoy our meal and visiting with our friends. Marcus gave us a tray for our leftover with a note on the cover. See the photos. It seems Marcus adds a special note to his customers. This was a nice and unexpected surprise. We enjoyed our time at Gallagher's. The wait service was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. I strongly recommend Gallagher's Pub. “I can't believe I have not written a review in all these years. This is your old school pub - not these bougie restaurants that pretend they are a bar and grill. Fantastic food! A good beer selection on tap and bottle. TVs to watch the games. Dart board, too! All for a reasonable price point. The best wings in the neighborhood and beyond!“
“Literally come with my bf just for their karaoke nights on Thursdays and Sundays with the fabulous DJ Chris and to visit bartenders Jessica and Tommy, the absolute best companions for this bar. Pretty laidback chill spot with pool tables, darts, nice background music and outside tables too. Hopefully the video gives a better glimpse of the bar appearance.Parking: It’s a pretty tight spot for parking. Maybe about 6-8 spots at most. But there’s always sidewalk parking in front of the bar as well as across the street or next to the supermarket.Kid-friendliness: It can be pretty family-friendly for the most part. All the remaining adults arrive after 9/10pm.“
“What an incredible bar! One of the owners, Dan, is such an awesome guy! He was playing in the band and conversing with all of the patrons. The bar is awesome with live music and great food! “It was a good choice! My wife really liked fish and chips: very little bread over fish, fish was fresh and just melting in your mouth. My burger was done exactly as I wanted! We were sitting on the outside patio next to the “shipwreck” that has a speaker playing music. It was our kind of music! Nice water views, great atmosphere, attentive staff and good food!❤️“
