“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

They take the time to get things right, every time — whether it’s making sure my own salads are chopped just the way I like (finely, but never mushy), or going above and beyond to create a special, unchopped “social” salad for my young grandson, complete with perfectly placed grilled chicken, avocado, and egg on a warm bed of grains.

On top of the great food, the team here is warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Staff members Sim and Swendy consistently show thoughtfulness and care.

These were things I paid an additional price for. For instance, today I ordered a Caesar salad and asked for the dressing to be mixed in and for a side of extra dressing. I left and went back to work and when I opened the bag, my salad was not mixed up and the extra dressing I paid $$ for was missing. My boyfriend and I were travel back up north back home to NH from NYC we were searching for somewhere to eat a nice hot breakfast sandwich. We found something near by as we detour to our next highway and we found them. Very kind people. The sandwiches were fresh hot and delicious. We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. Very friendly service: the bartender, greeter, our waiter, all gave good vibes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
