“We frequent this subway often, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. On Memorial Day, we didn't even think that their hours would be any different, but upon walking in, we realized that they closed in five minutes. Having both worked in food and beverage, my husband and I both said that we felt horrible that they are closing so soon and that we would just eat somewhere else. Joy, the owner, was more than happy to make us food even though we told her we didn't mind leaving since we knew they were closing and trying to clean up. Not only did she make us feel welcome, she continued to have a conversation with us as well as my two-year-old daughter (all with a smile on her face). She didn't rush making our sandwiches and she kept reminding us that she was so happy to have our business. This is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had, especially at a time when most other people would be angry that we were walking in 5 minutes before close. Not only is the staff awesome, but the food is wonderful and fresh every time and the store is very clean. See y'all soon!“

“Not sure how long this place has been around but we just noticed it and decided to take my son here for his birthday. There were so many options on the menu it was a tough decision to pick. It seems to be a halal place mixed with American fair. They had items like chicken or lamb over rice but also had like burgers, chicken tender, fries and many other things. The place is kind of small so minimal season. Each table is bar style height with only 4 chairs per table. So if you have a big group I’m not sure this would be the best place. But you could always ask before hand and see what they say.

The food was fresh and tasty. The service was great they were patient and answered any questions we had about the menu. Is it fine dining? No. But as I said everything was fresh and it’s a good treat especially it’s food all kids are satisfied eating. The only thing I wish is they had a different bun selection. They had like brioche buns which are so thick especially for kids. A nice martins or any type of potato buns go best with smash burgers. I feel like brioche is just a big filler that’s not needed for a good burger. The employee did come to check on us which is nice.

As for the games it’s older games and even though my kids are young and play all these new crazy graphic games they didn’t complain. It kept them busy as we waited for the food. They sipped on their cookies and cream shakes which were also a hit.

“This is a give guys same as all the others which is good when you have consistency. This one is a bit better because of the people working there. The tated young lady took my order, was very pleasant, and uphold me on a shake like she should. The order was fast and food was on point.

“I ordered the Lamb over rice and it was really good. Almost as good as in NYC. I wish they would put some fries or fried shrimp, like the food carts in the city. I've also tried their fried chicken, skin crispy with nice flavor and juicy insides. I def recommend this place. I left one star because it could be a wait to get your food when there's people waiting. I edited my review. I absolutely love the food here and the guys that work there are awesome.“

“Indulging in a bit of nostalgia l, as this was one of my family's favorite stops with us kids at the time in the 1960s-70s. Back then, it was a typical DQ with a walk-up window. Now, like everything else, it's modernized.

I did the drive-thru and ordered a chocolate dip top cone. The car in front of me must have had a more formidable order because I waited behind him for over 10 minutes.

The cone was good, but maybe my expectations were a bit high. The service was good too. But it just lacked the fun of standing outside on line for an ice cream treat on a hot summer night. I guess both DQ and I are not kids anymore.“

“The Poughkeepsie Route 9 Taco Bell is fast!!! You want your food fast? Your in a rush?? Best Taco Bell by FAR!!!!! There was a 5 car line at 730pm and I was paying for my food on drive thru Sunday receiving it within 5 minutes! They are polite and super efficient!!

Kid-friendliness: The employees are mostly kids working to pay for their car insurance or buying clothes for school! The world should hire the younger generation to work fast food! This team is amazing!!“

“First time at an A&W restaurant. The papa double burger was much better than a McDonald's or Burger King Burger. Much more meat. The rootbeer float was delicious. The price was reasonable and I thought the A&W bear mascot was really cute.

“My family’s favorite restaurant in Poughkeepsie. The food is awesome and well prepared. The place is always clean and the service is friendly.

“It's McDonald's- but, gave food 5 stars because it was served hot, cooked just right.

Service was fast at window with both employees polite and friendly.

One order was customized and done correctly.

“This place has good halal meals at good prices, and the owner is nice. One of my favorite places to eat since i moved upstate. Reminds me of the halal spot in harlem“

“Man! This truck’s food was a pleasant surprise! Such an original authentic flavor transporting you right to the Caribbean… I can’t say enough how nice talking to the staff is and how inviting the decoration on the truck is. Definitely need to revisit. My only negative critique is that this place doesn’t have a restaurant that we can visit everyday !!“

“I legitimately got the nicest most well-made burgers and wrap that I've gotten from any of the mainstream fast food restaurants in a very long time. The gal behind the counter made our sandwiches nicely and not the usual fast and sloppy. It may have been because it was after the lunch rush and they weren't very busy, but they were made very nicely nonetheless. She also added some extra spicy sauce to my wrap when I asked.“

“I’m a regular customer at this location for 14 consecutive years and I have never had a problem with this business. I mainly use the drive-thru and I’m deaf; on every visit ( it doesn’t matter which employee assists me), I’m always treated with respect and care despite not being able to use the speaker. My only complaint is their price on their crunchy tacos. I think 3 tacos without drinks or anything else added go for $6+ and they are not filling. This is why I stopped ordering their tacos and instead go for their burritos which are filling and much cheaper in price. The environment and atmosphere are excellent.“
