“For the most part the food is good. In the busy times it gets a little sloppy but still good. Place needs some TLC but food is good and people are nice. Some prices are high but I guess for this area they are still in the reasonable range. Not too many other choices around so it is busy most of the times. Overall 4 stars not quite up to a 5 star rating yet.“

I had the penne in tomato sauce, which was the best homemade pasta sauce I've had in decades. Fresh cilantro, fresh onion, and a low viscosity that isn't oily which is nice. Mwah!“

“To begin with the staff at the Rosehill Deli are brilliant so friendly and courteous. We have had many breakfasts and lunches to go and have never been disappointed.. For the first time ever I decided that life was way too crazy and I couldn’t handle the whole thanksgiving dinner so I ordered from the Rosehill Deli Turkey, stuffing, gravy and more and was absolutely delighted and as expected the food was fabulous �we would recommend this to everyone ... so happy to have them so close to home . “i like this place. i really do. the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel with butter is what i get all the time. but i really hate it when i call & then they ask me what i want, i tell them what i want and they say “hold on” and take other customers and leave me hanging on the phone for like five minutes. one time they completely neglected me on the phone for 10 minutes. what’s up with that? i love yall down but please stop doing that?“

“This is a great place to eat. It was slow so I sat by the window hoping business would pick and it did. A middle-aged couple came in with a puzzled look on their face, as though they were desperate for something to do.
The menu is large and in charge but I judge each deli by one dish and one dish alone, the chicken parm wedge. Is the bread fresh, is the chicken crispy, is the sauce homemade etc.? Sometimes a spot is constrained by its ability to both deliver and keep the price down; Summer Street Deli somehow figured this out. I ordered a Pedro Special and a Chicken Parm Wedge and spent $25 with tip. Not bad. The chicken parm was crispy, the sauce was sweet and the motz was tangy. The chili was also delicious with a touch of spice but not to little which infuriates me. I like a hot chili. Like a diet Merrit Canteen chili flavor, very good though.

But over all I like this little spot with lots of dining space that is roomy but maintains a classic feel without all this pretentious so called atmosphere that doesn’t require it’s presence in a neighborhood spot such as this. Definitely worth a look but don’t take your date here unless your married, it’s not that kind of place bro ;).“

“I stopped by on a whim on my way back home. I walked in there were 3 guys working there. I hate to forget names but I remembered Chris. They screw is funny and made my first trip there a good one. The sandwich (eggplant wrap with mozzarella cheese, lettuce) was so good. Eggplant is especially hard to make it the way I like it. I will definitely come back. I loved the attitude everyone had. “I have always driven up Hope Street and gone past this deli. Well, this week I finally stopped in. I ordered a chicken cutlet (My go-to deli sandwich) on a wedge with cheese, tomatoes and ketchup and mayo. First things first: they made a QUALITY QUALITY sandwich. The cutlet has a nice crisp to it, and was not dry but juicy. The breading was not overwhelming but just right. The cheese, bacon , tomato all meshed well. Nothing was too loose or too messy. Second the customer service was great. A great atmosphere to walk into. Its always nice when you are greeted by a smile, conversation and to see that person behind the counter is actually enjoying themselves.I went back again to try out their meatball parm. On. The. Money. The meatballs are fresh and REAL. “Chris is da man and hooks up some bomb sandwiches. This is a main north Stamford stop along since I had some issues at LaRoccos on long ridge. The staff is polite but when some leaves the door open it can get to hot or cold so of course they need to say something we were not raised in a barn door. I initially spoke with Chris and Edwin, who were both incredibly professional and polite. As a first-time party planner, I had a lot of questions, but they took their time to guide me through the process and made everything so easy.

The food selection was excellent, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how delicious everything was. Pat’s Deli also provided two servers—a young lady and a gentleman—who were simply amazing. They helped with everything from setting up the food to serving, making the entire event so much easier to manage. Having those extra hands allowed me to relax and enjoy the party.
