“Love this place! My mother lives nearby and when I’m in town, I pick up food for her because she loves their pasta, meatballs and chili in addition to bagels and other items. I just discovered their thinly sliced and breaded eggplant, which is amazing on a roll with mozzarella and roasted peppers.“

“Only thing that disappoints me about this place is I didn’t find it sooner. Lived in Bergen county 13 years and today was first time there. My wife got hot roast beef and gravy and I got a custom sandwich. They were both amazing. reminded of me when I was back in Hoboken. Bread was superb and so were the sun-dried tomatoes. I will be back again.“

“I would like to recommend Amato bread, I ordered the Eggplant, Mozzarella and Prosciutto on a fresh roll with Balsamic glaze. It was delicious and Joe the owner was very friendly and accommodating.“

“Went here for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. After tax with card it was $6 which was disappointing especially considering the lack of egg bacon and cheese compared to bread. The order came out fast and the guy who helped me was nice. It was a good sandwich but there are plenty of other places charging the same price or less for a much fuller sandwich that tastes just as good. I get the economy is bad but I’d rather the base sandwich be another ridiculous dollar more for a reasonable amount of fillings.“
