“This deli has the best sandwiches. I ordered a ham and cheese wedge and they were very generous with the meat. I also purchased 3 beef empanadas and OMG they were the best I ever had. The potatoe salad was home made and also delicious. The staff was very nice and enjoyed speaking with them. I would definitely recommend BrightSide Deli.“

“Stayed in Putnam Valley and stumbled across this gem! The food is EXCEPTIONAL! We ate there nearly every day of our stay and it was fantastic! We got all kinds of pizza (WHICH WAS SOOOOOO GOOD AND ADDICTING) and wings (wings were SO CRISPY AND HOT AND JUICY)! But the best part of the place is the family atmosphere. We came all the way from Florida and they showed us such hospitality! Cousin Nino is family now for sure! “First time buying lunch here I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise and oil & vinegar. Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

There’s anything that I can’t eat from there. I’m there all the time fresh vegetables mashed potatoes specials during the week are great and if you want something different, he’ll make it for you. Normally we don't post anything out of the 518 but we were out and about plowing snow in NYC and we stopped at Mountain View Deli. 🥪 🍪

We meet the owner Mike and he was very friendly and his hospitality was great. The cashier was very welcoming and made our experience worth it! The subs were really good and it's definitely one of the nicest deli's I've been to. They have a huge selection of homemade baked goods from Italian cookies, cheesecake, cakes and much more. The deli was super clean and my favorite part is they decorated the place for Christmas. Almost felt like home☃️ Thank you for the great service and I cannot wait to come back!

“I am a big fan of A&S and have been a customer for the past 40 years. While I lived in Pleasantville for many of those years, I no longer live locally. I make an extra effort to pass them on my way down from Hartford, CT to NY. That said, I had an experience today that makes me wonder, so BEWARE. I went in to buy fresh mozzarella and picked up a few of their delicatessen items. a few got weighed on the scale that I could not see, the last one on a scale I could see. Before putting the plastic container on the scale, the scale read 0 instead of minus something to address the weight of the container. They were effectively charging me $18.99 a pound for the plastic container. I called them out on it and to their credit they deducted $2.00 from my bill. I found this disappointing and will make sure to watch the scale in the future.“
