“Went here for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. After tax with card it was $6 which was disappointing especially considering the lack of egg bacon and cheese compared to bread. The order came out fast and the guy who helped me was nice. It was a good sandwich but there are plenty of other places charging the same price or less for a much fuller sandwich that tastes just as good. I get the economy is bad but I’d rather the base sandwich be another ridiculous dollar more for a reasonable amount of fillings.“

“First time buying lunch here I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise and oil & vinegar. Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

“been going there for centuries and then Chris to over the store and it’s still awesome like his chicken Parm loves my favorite or the cheeseburgers chicken noodle soup. There’s anything that I can’t eat from there. I’m there all the time fresh vegetables mashed potatoes specials during the week are great and if you want something different, he’ll make it for you. “Just randomly stopped here as I was down at Westchester medical center for a loved ones surgery and I needed a bite to eat. Got a double egg sandwich with cheddar cheese and ham with hot sauce (my go to egg sandwich - it's amazing how many places can't get it right!). As soon as I picked it up I knew it was going to be good. So, you can tell a cheap sandwich from a good one just by the weight. This one had some weight to it. One of the better egg sandwiches I've had in a while. All for less than 10 bucks with a coffee! The roll was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the cheese was dripping, the ham was good quality, and the sandwich was piping hot. From the time I ordered the sandwich to the time I got it it couldn't have been more than 4 minutes. The owner really knows what he's doing, is super friendly, and always has a smile on his face. The coffee was also very good. If you're in Pleasantville or Hawthorne or even at Westchester medical center and don't want hospital food, make sure you stop in here for a bite to eat. It's only 8 minutes from the hospital. Can't wait till the next time I'm in town to try something else.“

“always always happy with their BEC sandwiches. they only have a *tiny* amount of room for dining in, so it’s mostly/mainly a take-out/pick-up spot. food is always delicious though. if you commute or have a train trip or whatever then it makes way more sense to get food from here vs. the other nearby options (there’s a whole entire restaurant/bar at the actual old Peekskill station, but its a lil ‘foo-foo’.
