“We cannot possibly rave enough about Fat Boy’s Burrito. We waited for them to open and since they finally came to our area in 2022 they do not disappoint. Previously, most of our experience was with dining in at the restaurant and picking up take out orders. The food is always a home run. You cannot go wrong no matter what you choose. The staff are friendly and appear to enjoy their work. We recently hosted a party and ordered catering- there was an abundance of food that was delivered hot, set up for us, and the quality matched the presentation. Our guests left full (and with to go containers). Placing the order was seamless and any question we had was answered immediately and with care. We will definitely be placing future catering orders.“

“I stumbled upon this small but incredibly cute café, and I’m so glad I did! The star of the menu has to be the fire waffles and chicken crispy, savory, and perfectly paired with fluffy waffles that had the perfect touch of sweetness. It’s comfort food at its finest, and the portion sizes are just right. The hot chocolate? Out of this world just what you need to warm your soul. Service was fast and friendly, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with fantastic food, you need to check this place out!“

“Note** definitely call ahead if you don’t want to wait a half hour for your food. (Their website states that you don’t have to call ahead, that you can just walk in to order, but absolutely call ahead. You can always just make a separate purchase for any grab and go stuff that isn’t listed on the menu.). I wish we would have known this. We just trusted the suggestion on the website, and lost valuable time on our road trip. That said, the food was really tasty! We got the oxtail bowl (the platter option is much more expensive but has sautéed veggies instead of the kale slaw. The slaw was fine. Not too raw tasting) and we also got the diri djon djon (“black” rice with the fried oyster mushrooms.) The rice itself isn’t black. It’s more like “blackened” with spices. I noticed a hint of coconut in this. There were peas and Lima beans in this one. It was really nice. The tostones were a little dry, but I’m more of a sweet baked plantain person. Which just so happened to be included in the oxtail bowl, so I’m happy with that. The rice that was included in the oxtail bowl was more simple than the blackened rice, and had kidney beans in it. (This rice reheated much better than the other one.). The diri djon djon should be eaten all in one sitting. None of the components reheat particularly well, but all of the oxtail bowl reheated quite nicely. (Honestly, if you’re not in need of a second meal, I would go for the single oxtail platter which likely could feed 2 people, and leave it at that. We easily had 4 total meals out of what we ordered) We also got a plantain patty. It wasn’t listed on the menu. It was tasty! It had small blasts of spiciness but was overall mild. Seemed like it was plantains and caramelized onions. We also got the banana bread (straightforward) and strawberry keylimeade. (Quite refreshing and tasty.) We managed to not make a mess while sitting at the bench outside. There is a table inside, but unfortunately there isn’t a little table outside. (I’m Still coviding) there is, however, a little table outside the birria place next door, so if you don’t feel weird using another company’s seating. Go for it.“

“Came here for Mother’s Day and the food was delicious. The service was way too slow though. They were packed but really understaffed. A nice server came and introduced herself and I sat with coffee for a good 45 mins until someone brought our food over. Several other tables were waiting for the same time as well, maybe more. The server however was very nice. Everything is cooked fresh here and I enjoyed tasting everything because I was full by the time I took the first few bites. I recommend hiring more staff especially on busy holidays.“

“Always good, all the time. Been going to Komo for some time. I enjoy the sushi. From special rolls to the simple and classic, always fresh and delicious. My wife gets their hot food, also very good. For takeout or dine in, give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Parking: Park in the lot behind the restaurant if you can't find a spot on the street.“

“Ordered at this location 2 times so far this year (2024) and the guy who works behind the counter is always nice and smiles to his customers! The food is good and tastes fresh. Will be coming here again whenever I’m craving for some good halal food!“

“There are Chinese takeout restaurants everywhere, but this is one of the best I've been to. The decor isn't fancy, but the tables are large and clean so it would be fine for a quick sit down meal. I always get takeout and the staff is very polite and helpful, the food is always good, it's prepared quickly, and the prices are good, especially for the lunch specials.

I also really like that you can buy things that I don't usually see offered at other Chinese takeout restaurants, like side containers of the most popular sauces, a pint or quart of plain broth, and bean curd vegetable soup (my partner doesn't eat chicken or pork so he can't have wonton or egg drop soup).

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options that are tofu or vegetable based. My partner really likes the sesame bean curd and the General Tsao's bean curd, which are pptions we don't usually see on Chinese takeout menus.“

“I love this location! This location has very friendly staff, clean, and most of all, DELICIOUS food and smoothies! I have ordered from Garden City location a couple of times and weirdly my stomach felt weird after drinking their smoothies. I gave this location a try since I live by it, and I have had NO ISSUES with their food or smoothies! Needless to say, I’m there at least 2 times a week!! Definitely a good place to have lunch, or a healthy dinner option. Pictured is the Beach Club Wrap with their Peach Smoothie with protein added!“
