“Alexander's Cafe shines with an out of this world Panini! We visited Alexander's Cafe for lunch on the weekend between noon and 2pm, the establishment was slightly busy. This was my first venture to Alexander's and while I was initially skeptical, I left overly impressed. Staff were friendly and quick to assist with taking our order. There are plenty of selections here, ranging from salads to wraps and paninis. Between us we ordered a "scorcher" panini, a "chicken teriyaki" wrap, a side of loaded potato salad and a mango smoothie. We opted to eat in the dining room and received our food very shortly after we ordered (within 5 minutes). The teriyaki wrap had great flavor and the mango smoothie was incredibly tasty. I was expecting the scorcher panini to be quite hot, but it had what I would consider to be a pleasant amount of heat. Very manageable and I believe anyone that has even a slight tolerance to spicy food would enjoy it! The panini bread itself was probably the highlight of the trip, it was absolutely delicious! I think I could have had a lunch of just the panini bread and a soup and been totally satisfied. Absolutely fantastic.Keeping in mind we did opt for a side, a can of soda, and a smoothie with our lunch items, our meal for two cost us a little over $35. This isn't... "Crazy" per se, but i wouldn't consider it cheap either. The size of the wrap and the panini would honestly be enough to fill you up on their own so if you are looking to save a few bucks, keep that in mind.Overall our trip to Alexander's was very positive. We will certainly add this establishment to our regular stops.“
“I only come to my hometown about once a year and was going to go to one of my usual places, but they were all closed due to it being a Monday. Decided to try something new this time. Such a cool looking place. The staff were all very accommodating and nice. And the food? OMG. It was so good it’s ridiculous. I’m adding this place to my “where to go” the next time I’m home. You guys are killing it!“
“Always stop here for smokes and something to eat/drink. I dont drink alcohol but they also have what they call the "beer cave", which is just a large walk-in cooler filled with different beers and seltzers. The kitchen produces great food and they cook/make subs pretty quickly, and the guy thats normally working the register is normally in a pretty good mood. I dont think ive ever seen him in lesser mood. Very nice and clean, and have a selection of smoke products and glass as well as socks, incense, hats&gloves, candy & snacks, slushie machines, ice cream and more.Dietary restrictions: Just ask them and they can usually accommodate.Parking: Not a ton of spots but the place is never really backed up either people tend to move quickly hereKid-friendliness: Nothing inappropriate or dirty about this place, and located right across the street from dominos, family dollar, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: Long ramp sidewalk“
“Food was good tasting with good portion sizes. Drinks were reasonably priced and some were quite creative. Server was very polite and attentive. There were 10 of us and we sat outside. Obnoxiously loud ?music? from automobiles and winding up motorcycles ruined the outside ambiance.“
“Really nice atmosphere inside. The smoothie was excellent. The dude who helped us was welcoming and friendly. My only complaint would be the price. But you probably get what you pay for especially in today’s world. Overall it was worth it and we would definitely recommend and return!“
“I have driven by a million times and never actually stopped in. This morning I had some extra time and decided to give it a try. The coffee is very good but the customer service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and pleasant especially the employee at the end where you pay. I explained that it was my first time coming and she happily shared with me some of her favorite menu items and gave suggestions for things to try next time. I will definitely be back!“
“1st visit, but not the last! To start, their bread w/ herb olive oil dip was so delicious. I chose Italian dressing for my salad, which had a bold & tangy flavor that delighted my palate. My Chicken Marsala was perfectly cooked w/ a tasty sauce and loaded with mushrooms. So yummy! And the Utica Greens...I could eat every day of my life!? Our waitress was the epitome of hospitality and, despite the place being jammed, very efficient. (I'd name her, but my memory?) This place is a gem on every level and we're so looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Oaks Inn, we'll see you again soon!?“
“This place is very calming including they also have fishes there and very beautiful plants , although they don't have much employees they still make the drinks very quickly and the boba has great texture! 10/10 would recommend the Thai tea!“
“Gorgeous place by the river, plenty of inside and outside seating. Huge fireplace, soaring ceilings, great ambience! Perfect spot for group outing or a couple's casual night out. Food is 7 out of 10 in my opinion. Beer is really good, just not a broad selection. Everyone will find something they like though. Need to put table # more visible on the tables. Food runners kept coming by and looking over our shoulders trying to identify the table and trying to give us food which wasn't ours. We will definitely be back!“
“Frosty Joes is the best soft ice cream I've ever had. My husband and I moved here from Syracuse NY. We looked for a place to get ice cream as we live in Port Crane. We will make this our first and possibly only place for great ice cream. !!!! The man that owns it is so friendly and took time to talk to us.“
