She remembered the little details, stayed ahead of anything we needed, and had such a warm, positive energy that it honestly felt like being taken care of by a friend. You can tell she truly cares about people and takes pride in giving great service. Katie didn’t just serve our meal, she made the whole experience better. “Remlik’s is a hidden gem in Binghamtom. It’s inside a building (not sure of a hotel or office building), upon walking up, the smell was a little weird. I’m not sure how to place it. Very old school ambience. They have a big board upon walking in which has birthdays and anniversaries on, which I loved.

Our waitress was great, I wish I could remember her name. We got the crab cake appetizer, full of delicious crab. I could do without the topped slaw. We also got the calamari. The marinara was delicious. We got the kids steak with fries and the burger with fries. Both were great sizes. They were out of the New England clam chowder which was a bummer so my husband got the cream of mushroom (not really my thing).

My husband got the ribeye with potatoes and I got the chicken piccata. Both were delicious. For dessert, the tiramisu.

Overall it was wonderful and if we are in the area again, I would totally be back!“

From the moment we arrived, the host Reece greeted us with a warm and welcoming attitude that made us feel right at home. We ordered lunch and were absolutely delighted by the delicious food served. I chose the roti with curried shrimp, and it was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and truly satisfying. The delicious oxtail soup was an extra treat. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking for delicious Caribbean inspired cuisine in Binghamton. Whether you’re dining with family or friends, this restaurant is a must visit! “They say good finds are hidden gems, and Chris' Diner is the ultimate proof! In an area that feels pretty quiet and dead, this spot immediately grabs your attention with the vibrant, colorful building. We honestly never expected the food to be this good, but it completely blew us away.
The diner was super busy when we walked in, but we still managed to snag a table. The service was a little bit on the slower side, but honestly, with how packed the room and counter were, it was totally fine and well worth the wait.
Everything we had was great, but the Kielbasa & American Cheese Omelet was easily number one - hands down the best thing on the table! We also ordered the Meat Lovers Omelet and the Meat, Egg, & Cheese Sandwich, and both were hearty, delicious, and paired perfectly with mugs of bottomless coffee and hot chocolate. On top of that, the prices are super fair for the generous portions you get.
A quick tip: it gets packed fast with locals, so be patient if the kitchen takes a little extra time during the rush. If you're passing through and want top-notch classic breakfast comfort food, I can't recommend this place enough! 🍳☕✨“

“We celebrated my mom’s 85th birthday and my dad’s 88th birthday at McGirks last night with a group of 12, and despite how busy the restaurant was, everything was absolutely wonderful. Hunter was our server and she was excellent—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Kellyn, the bartender, was super fast, Emily is awesome as usual, and Noelle came over to personally wish my parents a happy birthday, which meant a lot to us. The chef did an amazing job—every dish was warm, delicious, and exactly as ordered. We had no complaints at all. After researching all the other restaurants hosting restaurant weeks menus. we decided to go to south city. mine and my fiancé food was incredible! “It's Applebee's..not fine dining or a place to go for atmosphere. Service was excellent especially considering a group of 45 came in at the same time. The shrimp and quesadilla if the triple appetizer choice were excellent. Unfortunately they gave us wings instead of riblets..but the waitress adjusted the check very favourably , without an argument.“

“Cheesesteak Boss on Front St is absolutely delicious. The cheesesteaks are the best I’ve found in the area, and the truffled potatoes and French fries are a must-try. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and I really appreciate the option to choose between a small sandwich when I’m not very hungry or a large one when I am. On top of that, the staff is always friendly, which makes the experience even better.“
