It was a little disappointing when I got to Panera and went to the cash register. There was an employee cleaning the floor and she never checked to see if any customers were waiting. Then I looked over by the food area and there were about 5 workers talking and at least 2 saw me and continued talking. If 1 just acknowledged me and said "somebody will be right with you" that would be OK, not to ignore your customers. I have stopped going to this location. I have been going to Panera locations throughout the US for....over a decade, probably 20 years. What makes this location so off putting. First, the staff is completely disengaged. Gone are the days where they speak, smile, its very cold. With the "new" (not so new) system of putting the bags out with the names on them, I feel like basically they are treating all customers like Door Dash drivers. I was helped by an employee named I think George (sorry if I have wrong name) I can tell you he had beautiful pride nail polish on. He was so nice and extremely helpful. Made my experience today that much more amazing! ?❤️?️?
