“It was a little disappointing when I got to Panera and went to the cash register. There was an employee cleaning the floor and she never checked to see if any customers were waiting. Then I looked over by the food area and there were about 5 workers talking and at least 2 saw me and continued talking. If 1 just acknowledged me and said "somebody will be right with you" that would be OK, not to ignore your customers. That said, when the girl cleaning finally looked up, she apologized and said I didn't hear you there." There seems to be a lack of training too, they used to ask which side? Now they just give you the French baguette. I asked for a whole wheat roll instead of the usual side and instead she gave me both and charged me an extra $2.00. I don't think I'll be going back to this location.“

“An absolute hidden gem in Patchogue village for comida authentica Mexicana! We visited for lunch around the holidays for a quick bite. We got sangria and a michelada as drinks to start. The sangria had quite a punch and the michelada had me reminiscing about that one time in Mexico. We got a shrimp sopa to share which came out hot and was super tasty. Our tortas came quickly after. I got the mixto torta which had two kinds of meat, and we also got the Cubano. After they came out we realized we could have split a sandwich because they were huge. The sandwich bread was soft and the sandwich itself was delicious. Aside from the food we got, they offer kids meals and even breakfast! They also have your typical tacos and burritos. I also loved the ambiance of the place, really gave you that feel of Mexico. I honestly cannot wait to go back and try other things they have to offer.“

“We had a very friendly waitress. She recommended the rice balls, and they were excellent. There was also a tv in the dining room and they changed it to the NASCAR race for me. The bread was nice and the garden salad was surprisingly tasty. Usually tomatoes are pale white and bland this time of year, but they had some nice ones in the salad. My entree was the Chicken Monachina. The portion size was very generous. Maybe a little more cheese than I would've liked. The chicken was of good quality and had no gristle. Most importantly they’re open very late when most other food places are closed.Tonight they let me try their new menu item “sloppy burger” which is a huge juicy piece of fried chicken tender, crispy pickles and various sauces (caution, spicy level is high but can likely be adjusted) on a small bun. I couldn't believe that each dinner came with your choice of soup or salad AND bread sticks! I chose the salad & it was big. My fiance chose the pasta fagioli & that was also big. The food was delicious & we both ate 3 times each out of our food because that's how much food we were given. And what REALLY impressed me was how i only spent $34.50 (chicken $21 + pasta $13.50) and received all that food. I'm used to going to my local pizzeria/restaurant & paying almost $40 for the same type dishes WITHOUT salad and/or soup. Granted, you get a piece of plain ole Italian bread but here you get those awesome buttery garlic bread sticks with your meal. When I've ordered from my local place, I got a chicken dinner ($21), pasta w/meat sauce ($18) & a small salad ($8). Do the math...$47.
