“Our group of 10 have been going to Cates Italian Garden for our annual get together for 4yrs. now in Bolton Landing N.Y. We decided to go to Cates Garden because everyone associated with our get together each yr. enjoys the atmosphere, food and service. Its a great place to talk laugh and just enjoy our 3hr. get together. Best part is being in Lake George, Bolton Landing is when your done eating you can go inside to the bar or just walk and enjoy the small town itself. If ever in Lake George area stop by and enjoy Cates Garden in the outdoor seating area. you won't be disappointed. SEE YA NEXT YR.“

“Really really great bruschetta, everything tasted fresh. Vodka sauce was so good, we ordered the penne 2 days in a row on vacation. They also sell Lion Farm Cookies at the checkout and those s’mores cookies were out of this world! The staff were all very friendly also. Will definitely be a regular stop on our yearly trip to town.“

Just minutes from the hustle of downtown Lake George, Number 1 Pizza feels like stepping into someone’s home—if that someone happens to be an incredible Italian cook. The specials drew us in, and we’re so glad they did. Everything is homemade—from the rich, savory sauce to the perfectly seasoned meatballs. The lasagna was layered with love, and the manicotti, made with delicate crepes, was hands-down the best we’ve ever had. You can taste the care and tradition in every bite. The owners are genuinely welcoming, the atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, and the food is the real star. This place isn’t just about pizza (though we hear that’s great too)—it’s a full-on Italian comfort food experience you won’t want to miss. If you’re in Lake George, make the short drive. “I’ve been going to Monte Cristos for years and never leave disappointed. Friendly staff, great food, beautiful view! My only problem is I seldom stray from the Buffalo Burger, absolutely delicious! Highly recommended if you’re looking for some good eats while enjoying Lake George!“

“What a great place! Stopped in on a Thursday night for drinks and a snack and were greeted by live music and seated right away. It's such a cute place and service was excellent. I ordered one of their margarita specials and it was so tasty! The pour was not light either, which I really appreciate, and definitely a homemade mix. The buffalo wings were solid and the dressing is homemade. I would for sure return to have a full meal.“

“Stopped by for two slices of pizza. The chicken Bacon Ranch was just okay. Definitely on the thinner side of pizza. The pepperoni slice tasted more like New York pizza. They offered to cut the pieces in half since we were sharing each slice. Prices a little high but so is that area. It seemed very warm inside. The dining room was full, so we did not enter that area. Maybe it was cooler there than the counter you order at. We went ate outside on a bench.“

“My husband and I stopped in for some breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Bank Cafe did not disappoint. They were absolutely delicious. I had a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. My husband had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a ciabatta. It was the perfect breakfast to start our day full of activities. I wish it wasn’t our last day or else we would be coming back tomorrow! The owner and staff were super friendly. We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in. While our sandwiches were getting made, we had a great conversation with the owner.“

“Had the great fortune of trying this Hazy IPA before meeting the owner Kelsey Grammer and watching him pull beer for a few hours. This beer is outstanding! it doesn't have that hoppy bite and has a refreshing citrus finish. Put simply? it's delicious. Looking forward to more amazing beers coming!!“
