Above the Rest isn't a restaurant but provides products for commercial sale. Just bought a cherry pie from Morton Williams and am writing this based on the very first bite. Excellent taste and appropriately moist filling as opposed to the paste-like substitutes on finds in the dominant NYC grocery store supplier (terrible Table Talk). Tasty pie sold by supermarket. Pricey, but the Cherry Pie is good enough and fresh enough so that I can't complain. It is as good as one would expect from a neighborhood bakery (if such places still existed),
